I truly appreciate Dr. Packydaki. She efficiently conducts her examination of my eyes, and her responses to my questions are simple (not filled with medical jargon) yet thorough. She is kind, caring, and helps me feel more ease, even when she has to perform a laser procedure. I am confident in her abilities and knowledge. The length of my appointments are not any longer than my those with my other 11 specialists. I would definitely recommend her to friends.

My mom has Alzheimer’s and I found her to be very soothing and explain things to her and very calm and I just liked her very much and we are to see her in a month and my mom does not like doctors and she liked her very well so thank you for taking the time to see us and getting us in very quickly. Last week I had a blocked blood vessel in my eye and was referred to Dr. Pachydaki, an ophthalmologist with 33 years experience in her field. I found her to be a vey skilled, thorough, efficient, cheerful, practitioner who puts her patients and their welfare first. Her staff follows her lead. In addition to learning what happened to me, I was honestly and clearly explained the procedures they would do, the prognosis, and the treatments that would follow. The professional team members work efficiently together, communicating with one another for the best patient outcomes they can provide.

I came in with a detached retina on right eye and multiple tears in left retina. Over the course of 5 days, bubbles were placed to hold retinas and then 4 series of laser procedures to hold retinas in place. I was told by my optometrist to see a medical professional immediately for floaters and flashes. My insurance required me to see one of their Drs., however, I had to leave a message and was told they would return my call within 24 hrs, they did not. I then called this office and was given a self pay appointment first thing the next morning. Amber, the gal that took my call, was extremely helpful and Rachel, that did my initial assessment, was very pleasant and helpful. Then I saw Dr. Pachydaki, and I cannot say enough about how professional yet concerned for me she was. She was very thorough and constantly checked that I was ok and not having any pain with the exam. Then her assistant (I cannot remember his name) escorted me to the desk for checkout and he was also very kind. I had an emergency of which I lost vision in 1 eye within a half hour I rushed into OPI and they got me in, then noticed this was a retinal issue, and sent me to this practice within 1 hour. The girls at desk were simply wonderful, it was around the lunch hour, I had nothing to eat, jokingly. They brought me out a great chicken sandwich, chips, and a soda. Got me in the back ASAP, where I saw Dr Sophia. What a joy she was ! Funny, patient, kind, very detailed, very on top of her game! Without a doubt, Dr. Pachydaki is one of the best Ophthalmology Specialist in this part of the country. I have had to have some rather extensive eye treatments in the last year and as a result, I had gone to several Ophthalmology Specialists for these treatments. However, none of the others were as caring and understanding as Dr. Pachydaki was to me. She, along with her compassionate and supportive staff, patiently answered all of my questions and properly addressed all of my concerns.
