A short wait time and then the MA took my vitals. She was friendly and efficient. I then waited maybe 20 minutes and then I saw Dr. Peter. He was friendly and got to the point of my visit, explained how we would proceed with my care and then I made the necessary appointments to get that care with the front desk. All in all, everyone was pleasant and efficient. I like the care that I received.

Dr. Peter has been my Cardiologist for many years. He truly cares about his patients. He takes his time in the appointment he asks questions and also answers all your concerns. When you leave your appointment you don't feel rushed like others doctor appointments. Everyone that I come in contact with that asks about a Cardiologist I always recommend Dr. Peter. I know there are many other talented Cardiologists out there but to me Dr. Peter is simply the best.

His approach is very professional and he takes all the necessary steps to provide good care, ordering the correct test to identify or confirm heart conditions as they arise. My husband went to the ER with off and on chest pain , ER doctor said cardiac enzymes show now evidence of a heart attack but will let Dr Peter decide if you need a heart cath . Doctor Peter has been my dad's cardiologist for the last two years. My dad has had many medical crisis in addition to heart decease including long COVID, dementia, COPD and bladder cancer. I’ve been a patient of Dr Peter for about a year now and he has done a superb job in his diagnosis and treatments which lead me to having a life saving Cardio catheter done at Cleveland clinic which he found that I had severely blocked Arteries. He recommended the bypass but due to my weight it was not recommended so we went with stents. So 4 stents later I am out and back in business. Mind you I had not signs physically other than some minor shortness of breath. It was only after Dr Peters echo cardio gram and stress test that he determined to have the procedure. Five years ago, I was referred to Dr. Peter by my primary doctor. I was having shortness of breath and chest pain. After stress tests, nothing was evident but I returned since I was still having the pain. Dr Peter ordered a catheterization, "just to be on the safe side". It showed a 99% blockage and I was told that I was very near a heart attack! A stent was implanted and following medication and cardiac rehab, the problem went away. It pays to have a doctor who really listens! Another wonderful asset is Dr. Peter's sharp and friendly staff! They make my visits much easier, and they also see that my appointment is called quickly. My husband had a serious heart attack while we were out of town. His patient files that were requested from Dr. Peter’s office came immediately so those doctors could look at his history. After he was released and we came back home he was able to see Dr. Peter the very next day. I have been under the care of Dr. Arley Peter since I moved to Vero Beach several years ago, my first visit was the first morning I was actually moving into my Vero Beach home, which was from being hit with my internal defibrillator. I have lived in South Florida for over 30 years and Dr. Arley Peter is wonderful, most caring and compassionate. His comprehensive treatment and diagnososis has proven to me that I have the Cardiologist I need. I have a complex heart situation including several heart operations through my groin, robotic heart valve and open heart surgery. Also 24 hours of Therapeutic Hypothermia after having no brain activity for 38 minutes with no success of reviving me. At 69 I am now going back out fishing on my boat. Some say you only live once, I am not wasting my second life and am very grateful for what God and my doctors are doing for me. Dr. Peter performed a catheterization on my husband and when he realized a stent may not be the best option he asked for a second opinion from his colleague. In the end we ended up having bypass surgery instead of a stent but the thoroughness of Dr. Peter was amazing. He was there through it all and helped us understand the actual bypass procedure. He worked as a team with our cardiac surgeon and everyone was there to help all of us get through it. He is informative, knowledgeable, patient and kind. I would definitely recommend Dr Peter. He is so gentle and caring. My mother was was having breathing difficulties and using a wheelchair. Dr Peter recommend a heart valve replacement. Although he was not doing the surgery, he was there first thing in the morning to be with my mom prior to the surgery. He also checked on her several times following the surgery. I've had a long time problem with circulation in my legs. The lower part of my legs had turned a redish brown shade and I had a lot of fatigue when standing or walking. In December 2019 and January 2020 Dr. Peter did a procedure called Ablation on both legs. I was referred to the Indian River Medical Center Emergency Room by Dr Chris Coppola my primary care doctor on 1/17/19 for an irregular heart beat. I was admitted to the Medical Center for 2 days and seen by Cardiologist Dr Arley Peter. I was diagnosed with AFib and Dr Peter managed my care in a knowledgeable, understandable to me, compassionate and overall professional manner. I can't praise Dr Peter enough. He is thorough, careful, knowledgeable and, most importantly, caring and attentive. My symptoms were frightening, complicated and confusing, but he persisted until he found a course of treatment that worked for me. I am thankful to Dr. Peter as I feel he probably saved my life. I went to my primary care Dr. complaining of some minor chest pains. He said my heart sounded good, but since I was complaining of chest pains, he sent me to Dr.Peter for a follow up. Dr Peter said my heart sounded good also, but said I should have a stress test. During the stress test, he said I probably have a partial blockage and scheduled me in hospital to confirm. In the hospital, it was confirmed that I had a blockage in the Left Anterior Descending Artery, which is one of the major sources of blood flow to the heart muscle. The day after I had the stent put in, he told me how serious it actually was. Thankfully, no damage was done to my heart and I am in good health. I realize I could have died, or seriously damaged my health. I was discounting the chest pain, thinking it was not that. My wife thought otherwise. My husband & I love Dr. Peter. He is very kind, caring, compassionate & knowledgeable. After lab work for an insurance change something was off; he was very concerned & ran several tests.
