Dr. Dierik Sparks my family's go to doctor for any orthopedic needs. He is friendly and knowledgeable and has a great bedside manner. All treatment, scans and appointments are done in a timely manner. The office staff and nurses are friendly and professional. I highly recommend this office.

Dennis is gradually getting better thank you for all your help in getting him well. Today is 3/22/24 and on 3/21/24 Dennis Barnard completed his physical therapy they've released him to go back to work. The city has sent him for a drug screening and a physical before he goes back. He is very pleased with the physical therapy he had and the therapist and doctor who worked on him. They were all nice people and they treated him very well. Dr. Sparks did a ACL replacement on my knee in 2016. He did a great job. I had a ACL replacement in Birmingham several years before he did the second one so I had knowledge of the procedure. A couple of weeks ago I started having knee pain and I made an appointment with him. I got in fairly quickly and the staff was very friendly and efficient. I had an X-ray saw Dr. Sparks and had treatment and was out of the office in 20 minutes. He throughly explained my problem what the options of treatment were and injected my knee with little to no pain. I would and have recommended Dr. Sparks for any of your orthopedic problems. When you go to see him for a check up, you don't have time to sit down before he has you all checked out. Dr. Sparks is and excellent surgeon and the most compassionate orthopedist I have ever know. He did both of my rotator cuff surgeries (left, 2017 & right, 2021). He did my husband's below knee leg amputations (2016 & 2019) and reverse shoulder replacement (2017), and a few revisions. We are from the Calhoun county area but wouldn't consider going anywhere but Sparks Orthopedic.
