Amazing surgeon and team, couldn’t be happier with my outcome! I’m truly grateful for Dr. Tal David and his entire staff. This is my second rotary cuff surgery , Dr David repaired my torn Supraspinatus on my left shoulder 5 years ago . This time I was back for my right shoulder . From start to finish, they were professional, compassionate, and incredibly responsive and supportive. My pre-surgery diagnosis included a right shoulder rotator cuff tear with deep retraction and atrophy ( so much so he needed to attach cadaver tendon), right shoulder biceps tendon partial tearing, and right shoulder impingement. At 8 weeks post-surgery, I’m happy to report than I’m doing remarkably well, I have full range of motion and have regained about 50% of my strength ( w zero pain). My progress has been nothing short of amazing and I’m confident that with continued PT ( put the work in!!) and healing I’ll be fully recovered within the next 4-6 weeks. Kudos to team David!! As an individual with a ATC background, he is an excellent provider who isn’t at all, egotistical, when as the patient one suspect they have (fill in the blank) and they’d like to confirm or rule out. What I so appreciate about Dr. David, and find extremely rare in the health and medical world, he will recommend the best path to health, even if that means sending you elsewhere. In other words, we all know that surgeons cut, but when I saw him yesterday, he didn’t believe that another surgery would be beneficial for me, therefore, he hooked me up with a PT that he used for his own daughter, And he hooked me up with a stem cell/biologic doctor. The wheels are in motion already with those two entities. I feel like I have a great plan in place. I felt like I was treated like a family friend. Dr. David is a wonderful surgeon. My husband and I are quite active, and any time we obtain an orthopedic injury, he is our go-to doctor. I have been an athlete my whole life and I have pushed myself to the extreme over and over. Dr David has performed more surgeries on my body parts than I would rather count. I am also in the medical field and had the opportunity to work with 30 years worth of orthopedic physicians. He is the best. This last surgery comprised four different tendons across two different joints and after 8 weeks I can honestly tell you he is heaven sent. When I'm not even sure I have a chance to be put back together he made me feel comfortable he could do it and even more amazing, do a superior job. Dr. David, Kyle and the Synergy team are fantastic! I met with Dr. David and Kyle back in 2019 when I was having some issues with my right knee regarding a Bakers cyst. He completed an Arthroscopic debridement to help me function better in my extremely active lifestyle. Fast forward to Jan 2023 as I'm writing this review and I will going in to have Dr. David complete a repair of an open patellar tendon. This injury, a complete patella tendon rupture occurred last week while skiing in Colorado. Dr. Tal David is an outstanding doctor, an amazing surgeon, and super nice and kind person. My daughter is an athlete. High-level. Consistently ranked No. 1 in the United States and currently top-4 internationally. Her shoulder injury was sports related. We did a lot of research looking for the best possible surgeon to treat that injury. We spoke to friends, coaches, sports medical professionals, athletes, (and even a couple of orthopedic surgeons) all over the US and the world and Dr. David was without a question the best choice to treat our daughter. And they turned out to be right about him - he did an amazing job with the surgery, was very attentive in every aspect (physical and psychological). I have now had 4 surgeries with Dr. David. The procedures he's performed on me are listed below: *Laterjet *ACL *Collarbone ORIF *Hardware removal Since both my laterjet and ACL surgeries, I have not had any problems with stability in my shoulder and knee. I have been able to return to the activities I love and not have to think a ton about being limited. The other two procedures very smooth and haven't had a ton of issues. In my interaction with Dr. David, he's been very personable and makes a point to understand your desires post op and tailor his treatment accordingly. Dr. David is very willing to help you understand your options and the consequences of each procedure and answer any other questions you may have. It is evident that he wants to do what's best for his patients and get them back to the activities they love as quickly as possible. Dr. David repaired my rotator cuff that had supposedly been “repaired” by another surgeon. Then he repaired my torn ACL from a skiing accident. He has also repaired my husband’s knee and shoulder. All of our surgeries performed by Dr. David were very successful, and we don’t hesitate to recommend him to our friends. He’s not arrogant like so many of his peers; he has a great bedside manner. Great experience with difficult surgery. I had a sports injury to my shoulder and needed a chronic tear fixed. Dr. David was my third opinion and thank goodness I went to see him. He fixed my shoulder arthroscopically (the other doctors said that it could not be fixed arthroscopically). He also used stem cells to augment the healing. I was referred to Dr. David's office after an unsuccessful surgery to repair my torn left rotator cuff. Dr. David and his staff were so professional and courteous. An MRI showed that the damage in my shoulder was severe. Dr. David assured me that he could repair it. He took the time to answer all my questions. I had ACL reconstruction about 20 years ago and I had not experienced anything more than occasional swelling and some arthritic pain until recently. A few months back the knee swelled up and felt like it was going to give out a couple of times per day, so I figured it was time to get it checked out.Friends recommended Dr. Chao and while reading reviews on him, I came across numerous positive reviews of his colleague, Dr. Tal David, so I decided to give Dr. David a try.My X-rays were inconclusive and Dr. David suggested he drain the knee and give me a shot of cortisone. He said if the swelling and pain returned, it could be indicative of a loose body floating in the knee or a tear. I told him that I thought I had a loose body and would prefer to skip the draining and shot and pursue arthroscopy. He could have laughed at my opinion, but he listened and his staff was able to get me into an MRI facility that evening. The MRI confirmed I had a meniscus tear and 2 loose bodies and Dr. David was able to perform arthroscopy to clean up my knee less than 2 weeks after my initial visit. Dr. David called me in the evening after my procedure (a Friday night) and told me to call him on his cell if I ran into any problems over the weekend. Very impressive. Dr. Tal David was referred to me by many, many people. He is a specialist in sports injuries, and treats many young athletes such as me. In all of the patients I talked to, there was never a single complaint about him. His surgical skills are outstanding, and I am back to feeling better than I ever did. He is not "surgery happy" either - I didn't get the feeling that he was pushing surgery just to make a buck. He is very thorough, and I liked his bedside manner. Dr. David’s PA Julie Perry was just incredible. Attentive, thorough, positive & knowledgeable. Having a painful shoulder injury, I was able to tell her exactly what I was doing when it happened. I could tell she “heard” me and responded accordingly. My anxiety evaporated quickly & I felt more confident & optimistic that it’s not a devastating injury. Dr. David & his staff have always been my go-to for decades — and I refer every athlete I know to them. Thank you, as always, for keeping this body functioning as best as it can!
