Had a PRP injection with Dr. David this morning. Great experience. Dr. David is skilled and takes time to explain things. Staff is friendly and efficient. Will definitely be back for any other needs.

I called his office and was able to get an appointment within 10 days when my system was going to take over 2 and a half months. Then he was able to get my results from my MRI. He was friendly and professional. He reviewed the results and gave me options. Once I came to a decision, I was able to make an appointment for the surgery within 20 days

Dr. David is the kindest and smartest doctor. He takes the time to listen to his patients and has a very conservative approach. I have referred so many people to him because he’s not good!

Dr. Tal S. David, M.D., is a distinguished board-certified orthopedic surgeon with a subspecialty certification in Orthopedic Sports Medicine. His practice focuses on arthroscopic and sports medicine surgery.
He received his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. He completed an orthopedic sports medicine fellowship at the renowned Kerlan-Jobe Orthopedic Clinic in Los Angeles, California. He has been involved in the care of injured athletes for more than 15 years, including serving 11 years as an NFL team physician.
Dr. David is a Volunteer Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at UC San Diego Health and a Faculty Instructor in the San Diego Arthroscopy and Sports Medicine Fellowship. He serves on the Board of Editors for the peer-reviewed scientific journal, Orthopedics.
He is an active member of the Arthroscopy Association of North America (AANA), the International Society of Arthroscopy, Knee Surgery, and Orthopedic Sports Medicine (ISAKOS), and the American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine (AOSSM), where he is a member of the Council of Delegates. Dr. David has authored the textbook “Arthroscopic Techniques of the Shoulder” and is a co-editor of the Visual Arthroscopy Series on Arthroscopic Surgery. He has published and lectured internationally on topics related to sports medicine and injuries. Voted a “Top Doctor” in orthopedic surgery for six consecutive years in San Diego Magazine, he is highly respected by his peers.
