I had a detached retina a year ago. Dr. Gersman has provided all of my follow-up exams since. He is an outstanding doctor with thorough exams and explanations. This place is amazing. When my retina detached I went to the hospital first and then saw an eye doctor. He contacted Dr Gersman on a Saturday night and saw be on Sunday morning at 8am and they weren't even open. Would 100 % recommend.Patient Submitted Review

My wife recently had a major stroke losing left side functions including all vision in the left eye and perifial vision in her right eye. Once discharged & setting up various appointments, we were referred to Vitreo-Retinal Consultants. Knowing that the longer we waited, the less chance of any type of recovery, Jen at VRC clearly went out of her way to get my wife in to be examined by Dr. Gersman. This included obtaining the neuro-stroke report urgently needed from the hospital. Jen help calm us down and explained the entire process. Also, where all other specialists are starting at a month or more before even having a chance to see them, Jen was so crucial in making room for my wife in just over a weeks time. She had such a thorough exam by a polite, understanding and professional staff.
