Dr Gersman is a wonderful Dr! He gets 5 stars. His bedside manner is great and he is knowledgeable, patient, and kind. He knows Macular Degeneration and has shared his knowledge with us. He is the reason we keep going back!
They have obviously outgrown their office. Staff are practically sitting on top of each other. The decor is stuck in the 80’s, it is dark and hard to navigate all the turns and narrow hallways with limited vision. You are shuffled from dark room to dark room with staff wearing dark colored scrubs that are hard to see when you have a visual impairment. Staff needs to better communicate with what they are doing during the procedures. It’s unnerving when someone comes at you with eye drops when you couldn’t see them until they are standing over you. To top it off, you are asked to go down 5 steps to check out. I’m so fearful that my loved one will fall after his appointment.

He is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Surgery at Northeastern Ohio University School of Medicine.
