Dr. Knutson recently cleaned my left knee; arthritis and meniscus. He also did my right knee three years ago. And just like the right knee the left knee surgery went very well. Healing from surgery is annoying at best. It is frustrating, happens on its own arbitrary timeline, and it creates anxiety in the form of “will I be able to do X and Y again?” Doc Knutson’s team has an amazing part of my journey to recovery. I honestly don’t know where this will ultimately end up but I can say that five weeks post surgically speaking I have gone from a shoulder an arm that was essentially useless, without range of motion, and constantly painful to one that is exponentially better. This is no easy process and I have had to make adjustments but that is fine. The important things come with perseverance. What I have gained is threefold: my arm and joints are vastly improved already, I am optimistic for what total recovery can really be for me, and the Ortho Central surgical and Physical Therapy team have my confidence that they are invested in my recovery.
