Dr. Hofmeister is by far my favorite orthopedic doctor—and honestly, my favorite doctor overall. He has an incredible sense of humor that immediately puts you at ease, making even injection procedures much more comfortable. He truly goes above and beyond for his patients, especially when it comes to helping with insurance approvals. He takes the time to explain everything thoroughly, answers questions without rushing, and makes sure you’re comfortable throughout your visit. I always leave feeling informed, cared for, and confident in my treatment and a good laugh on my way out. I was sent to the doctor for a second opinion, and I know that before examining me, he took the time to read my report, and I appreciate that because he not only ordered what my doctor had requested, but he also ordered an ultrasound that will help demonstrate the damage to my hands. Dr Hofmeister and all the staff are first class. Dr was pragmatic about treatment options, and had the 7 year problem taken care in short thrift and I was on my way to recovery within 2 weeks. The surgical staff were attentive, professional, efficient and very personable. They kept me informed all the way through the procedure and followed up making sure I was recovering ok. My injury was work related and he handled all the associated paperwork without a hitch. I broke my arm in Dec and needed to get surgery before 12/31 to accomodate my insurance. Dr Hofmeister made it happen with in 4 days. I have full mobility back and could not be happier with the results. Even more impressive, I got a call at 9PM directly from Dr H, checking on me to make sure I was getting what I needed. Dr. Hofmeister is an awesome doctor who listens to his patients and is honest in his opinions! I had nerve damage after a botched hand surgery, by another doctor, and it hurt just to touch the hand. After a year of PT, my hand was ready for revision surgery, and Dr. Hofmeister was honest about whether this would fix the problem. I also expressed concerns about narcotics after surgery. I am beyond impressed with the skill and professionalism displayed by Dr. Hoffmeister and his team - they far exceeded my expectations. I had surgery in early January on my left wrist, and since the first intake appointment I was pleasantly surprised with how much interest not only Dr. Hoffmeister but his entire staff took to ensure that the process moved along quickly and smoothly. It is very clear that Dr. Hoffmeister is well respected among his peers and staff, but for someone with such a high level of experience and talent he was incredibly warm and humble; I was particularly satisfied with his bedside manner and how well he listened to and expertly addressed any and all of my concerns and requests, no matter how inconsequential they may have been. I was quite nervous as this was my first time going under general anesthesia, but the Dr. and team bent over backwards to ensure my comfort from intake appointment to post-op. My faith in western medicine is restored! I highly recommend Dr. Hoffmeister if you are needing any procedure done; three weeks later the wrist is completely recovered, bearing weight, and all pain gone! THANK YOU!Patient Submitted Review
