Dr. Starr, his surgical staff, and everyone at the clinic were simply amazing.From the moment you enter the building, it's clean, the receptionists are helpful and polite, the nurses and radiologists are friendly and professional. I honestly have NOTHING negative to say about my experience. I've never waited past my scheduled appointment time either.I had a brain-fart while operating a table saw. My left index finger had to be reattached. Dr Starr briefed me on what to expect and he's been on point. I'm still healing but I'll retain the use of the finger. This entire office runs like a well oiled machine! Dr.Adam Starr is a TOP NOTCH surgeon. My left pinkie finger was totally curled under and locked. I couldn’t even wear a glove. After Dr Starr operated, I have a totally straight finger! I now have a fully functional hand. I can not say enough good things about this surgeon. I will be returning to him in a couple of months for surgery on my right hand. I wouldn’t think of going anywhere else. AND, to top it all off, he has a great bedside manner. Dr. Starr is an amazing physician who suggested something nott require surgery &extra money in his pocket, but allowed me to keep movement in my finger &allowed me to play piano. That is a dr who goes way above&beyond what is necessary. Dr. Star was recommended by someone else who believed in him as a Christian. I will certainly get in contact with that friend and let him know he was spot on accurate. The reason for visit to Dr. Starr was abuse.by husband. My finger may never be straightened due to that abuse, but Dr. Starr provided the answer I needed to strengthen my crooked finger &.allow me to play piano. Husband trying to destroy my ability to play piano, because he was angry after my mother-in-law heard me play first time. Tony in desert storm &his mom told him not only that he should get me pisno but also his uncle would want to play guitar w me. That happened. Tony hated, was jjealous & tried to destroy ability. Dr. Starr is great. Spent ~40 minutes with me answering all my questions and going over the options to deal with my wrist/thumb issues. I was all prepared to schedule surgery to get pain relief. After an evaluation and experimenting with several non-invasive procedures, Dr. Starr recommended a non-surgical option. Imagine that, a surgeon recommending a non-surgical option. This doctor practices medicine as it should be done, i.e., with his patients' best interests in mind. Highly recommend him and his staff!
