Dr Cook was very attentive and listened to my concerns. He made adjustments to my custom orthotics and showed me strengthening exercises to help relieve the pain in my foot. He took the time to explain things to me. It was refreshing to be able to talk with a doctor who genuinely cared for his patients. He did not rush me through my appointment. It was a pleasure interacting with everybody at this office.

Have taken my daughter to see Dr. Cook twice now. Both times he has been so nice and friendly and very knowledgeable of the procedures he was doing. He took into consideration her age and hesitation of being there to make her feel very comfortable. Left another facility to come to OAA. Dr Cook was first avail to see me. Absolutely fabulous interaction . Friendly, knowledgeable and got the ball rolling on a broken ankle from 1/12/24. I can’t say enough great things. He got some things going that had not already been done. I was feeling pretty helpless up until seeing him. I have had foot problems for the last 10 years from a high school basketball injury. I’ve seen other doctors and they blew me off. Dr. Cook took the time to find the problem, try to correct it before jumping into surgery, and then performed the necessary surgery to fix it. I am 4.5 months out with no pain. Fully recovered and started jogging again 2 weeks ago. If you need a foot or ankle doctor, I wouldn’t go to anyone else. Dr. Cool is amazing. I went to him with foot pain left after a break I had 7 years ago. He explained everything to me, answered all my questions and provided me with the best treatment plan. He performed surgery on my foot and repaired my muscles. I am 6 weeks out from surgery and feel better than when I went in. My experience with Dr. Cook has been great. I was out of the country in early March and broke my heel. I went to see Dr. Cook on return. On my first visit, he thoroughly explained that I may need surgery, what that meant and how long my recovery might take. All of those possibilities were frightening to me. To his credit, he also explained the "best" scenario, although he indicated that I'd fall into the worst category. A subsequent CT scan eliminated the need for surgery, but as I progressed through my treatment, he kept me prepped for the worst scenario. In my case, it was good news each time I visited. I'm thankful that he had me ready to accept the worst because I was prepared for that each time I went. Happily, my outcome was one of the good ones and I was pleasantly surprised at each visit. I wanted to get a second opinion on my right foot of the throbbing pain which I thought was my bone spur and I find out it was not the cause of the pain it was plantar faciatis the bones in your foot.
