I’ve been a patient of Dr. Smith’s for nearly two years for the treatment of arthritis in my left hip and bilateral knees. In my experience I have found a practice that is kind, caring, and attentive. Dr. Smith, along with his Physician Assistants, Abigail and Matthew take the time listen, explain any related orthopedic disease processes, treatment options so that you have the information needed to make medically informed decisions. Dr. Smith’s Medical Assistant Kelly makes sure the providers orders, medication refills and scheduling of appointments or procedures are followed through in a timely manner. There is no better ortho surgeon PERIOD!!! I will and have recommended him to everyone i have spoke to that has asked or have needed an ortho surgeon since mine. I have had enough surgeries prior and wish I would of had him before all of them. Hands down very caring, listens and far most very precise in how he does his job!!! There is no better and Thank You Dr. Smith for fixing all of it. Thanks to Abby his assistant PA also!!! She was the best when he wasn't there and put me #1 when I was in their care. This wonderful doctor gave me my active life back. I had two total hip replacements 2 years a part. Was walking with a walker and 2 weeks after surgery began walking without any help. Dr. Smith is an outstanding orthopedic surgeon and doctor. While his manner is quiet and reserved, he is very thorough in answering all patient questions, compassionate in his care, and very professional in allowing his patients to ultimately make their own decisions regarding their health care choices. Great dr. He listened, explained things so I would understand and answered all my questions. His PA was great also. She asked questions, listened and answered all my questions too. Just four short weeks ago Dr.Smith completed total hip replacement for me... Within 2 weeks I was walking without assistance (crutches/walker), the pain relief and healing have been incredible. Our son had a tiba break in the middle and it broke open the skin. The care we received was amazing. He got our son into surgery to get it set right away. Treated our son as if he was his own child.
