Dr. Baker is the second physician I have seen at this practice, and I found him every bit as good as my first experience. The office staff is terrific, and Dr. Baker was professional, straightforward, personable and, in my opinion, a great doc. The only complaint I have is that I was seen a little later than my appointment time, but I saw a first at any doctor’s office ever…they have a board that shows how late each doctor is with respect to appoint time. So far so good, will update after follow up. Front desk staff was busy (maybe a bit overwhelmed) I had my first appointment with Dr. Baker and he was kind while being informative. X-Rays are in office, and I was able to reconfirm nothing was wrong bone wise. So I am being referred to SDMI (out of office) for an MRI. Dr. Bakers assistant Judith is kind and patient, she was able to provide an email with the referral for SDMI which made booking an appointment with them faster. I am able to text my appointment time and for me that is very convenient, as Judith will use that information to schedule a follow up with Dr. Baker no need to call and schedule. My son recently had surgery on his shoulder. Dr.Baker is kind, thorough, knowledgeable, and takes his time to explain what the entire process would entail. He made a very nervous young man feel much more at ease about the whole situation. We would highly recommend Dr. Baker.…. Aside from that everyone else in the office was amazing especially Jason who removed his stitches. And the surgery center where the surgery took place was incredible… from front desk to anesthesia to PACU nurses. I did not see the doctor, but his assistant Judith was exceptional and so helpful to me I even called her number when I got home and I left a message letting her know how thankful I was for all her care and interest, I know she relayed my contact with her to Dr. Baker and I was given a cortisone injection by Jason whom I've come to love too and request whenever I need an injection, all I can say is that my vist to Nevada Orthopedic today was great!! I just want to tell everyone that Dr. Baker has been a wonderful surgeon. He is very patient and explains everything to you. He will spend time with you and try to help in any way possible. I was scheduled to have this same knee surgery done a few years ago & I had to cancel, I reached out to Shawna to try to reschedule & never got a reply back. I’ve been living in pain for years never really took my health serious until my knee started affecting my daily life. I always just nursed it with over counter medications just figured it would eventually go away. Dr. Baker was referred to me by my husband who always had a knee issue. Alright I'm Back, Physician Baker is too legit. He may talk over you , which might I add is the most frustrating thing in the world but other than THAT he is a cool physician. He probably does that to speed up the process, but its still rude. I had surgery on both of my knees.The first knee umm it's been a while but all I can remember is that he really was helpful and it seemed like he cared a lot. I didn't have any problems so A plus. The second knee my only complaint is the swelling took to long for it to go down, however this month is my year mark and literally half of the incision is flat and I'm not mad at that. A plus. That just tells me he did his job right and I think that's what happen with the left knee too. Overall Physican Baker is a big help, he really has helped me a lot. I don't get light headed anymore from squating or being on my knees. Nor do I see dis-coloring in my knees after running sitting for long hours at end. He really did change my life for the better and I thank God for Physican Baker because I'm better and it's all because of him. It's a sensitive topic because now I am able to run without pain and etc. After the surgery my thighs were swollen and I don't know how to describe it but the color has changed. Etc.
