My children have been seen by Dr. Carola Fleener since they were infants. I could not have chosen a better pediatrician. She is not in it for the money, but for the love of children and seeing their future healthy and prosperous! Her staff is amazing. Dr. Fleener paid close attention to my daughter. We went early in the morning without an appointment, during walk in hrs. My baby had a scary fall. She hit her head and I was terrified. Dr. Fleener had me come into the clinic right away and was able to diagnose what had happened within seconds of seeing her. She helped me calm down and told me what hospital would be the best option for my girl. She then let me know that she was checking in with the hospital hourly to see how things were going. We just left our follow up visit where she was kind, reassuring, and very thorough in her care. She made us feel very supported through this scary situation. I would highly recommend her to anyone! Dr.Fleener and PA-Lisa Bernard have been my children's pediatricians for 27 years. 3 out of 4 of my kids, had serious medical issues. Dr. Fleener and Lisa were the ONLY doctor in town - after visiting many, that actually listened to me. They have always been professional, loving, kind, respectful towards my children and family. They have taken exceptional care of our children throughout the years. We literally only trust this medical group with all of childrens health needs/concerns. The entire staff at the Sarasota Children's Clinic were amazing. My 14 year old was a "new patient" and was given an appointment very quickly. Usually one has to wait months to get into a new doctor. I was easily able to fill out and send to the office the new patient paperwork and copies of my insurance. When I arrived to the office a mere two days after sending in the paperwork, front desk (friendly and calm) already had his chart begun with the paperwork I sent to the office and only required a quick copy of my ID. The nurse who came in before the doctor was easy to speak with and thorough in his responsibilities. Dr. C. Fleener was very attentive and professional and set my son up for a follow up due to some concerns regarding his health. The referral process to a local specialist was quick and easy. I was exceedingly impressed and am happy I now have a doctor who is easily accessible. It is great to be able to finally feel comfortable my son is in good hands. I just wantPatient Submitted Review

I called on Monday morning and asked to make an appointment regarding my son having a high fever. I was told I could bring him in that morning! When arriving we got right in at our appointment time. My son had a 103.3 fever and was tested positive for flue virus. They gave him medicine to bring fever down and prescribed tami flu. My son got up Tuesday morning feeling soooo much better.
