I've always had a wonderful experience here at NV Ortho. Dr.Laroche is very thorough, understanding, and knowledgeable . The staff is great and well trained, wait time minimal both in the waiting room and exam room. I've never felt forgotten and that's saying something seeing as most clinics will have you wait what seems like forever. I'll keep going back to Dr.Laroche for my condition as I feel it's quality care.The only complaint I have is the slow communication through followmyhealth when using secure messaging to contact the office.

The front check in can look daunting but it moves quickly. The staff is friendly and professional. The whole process at that facility is extremely efficient. Dr. Laroche was kind and informative. Dr Laroache has done several surgeries on my hands and I have to say he is the best! He is thorough, empathetic, and truly cares for his patients. His staff is seriously the icing on the cake though. Kelley, who schedules his surgeries is just wonderful! That girl deserves A RAISE! She is quick to respond to texts, she is on the ball about everything and is 100% a gem! In my situation it is frustrating because I have tumors that keep developing in my hands so having to be “a regular” isn’t what I would call “fun”:( They make my experience there though easy, stress-free and comfortable. I felt as if I was being personally attended to and cared for by the entire Team, I was scheduled in quickly, Dr La Roche was very thorough in the evaluation and explained my injury by validating my concerns and assuring me after the MRI was viewed we would go over the options to obtain the best outcome. Dr Laroche was very thorough on his diagnose and treatment. 2 months ago my finger was punctured while trimming palm tree. Urgent care doctor couldn’t find foreign body and my puncture slowly healed but with a bump. X-ray showed no foreign body but Dr Laroche open it and removed the palm needle. I've been having issues with my ring and middle finger and doctor Laroche diagnosed me with trigger finger. My 1st visit with him he let me know my options, which were injection exercise or surgery. A thoroughly explained about each and thoroughly answered my questions and address my concerns about injections and surgery. I opted to do the physical therapy exercises 1st to see if it would help and the exercise is helped some. My 2nd visit was 6 to 8 weeks later and as I address my diagnosis and what the exercise did and did not do and other things got worst I made the decision to have surgery. Again, doctor laroche explained the surgery procedure, answered my questions, and had the pre op nurse go over all my appointments and schedule my surgery and he told me if I had any other questions to email or give him a call. Not only did he listen a ask questions about my injury, he proceeded to check the injury thoroughly and confirm his diagnosis. At that point he noticed a splint on my opposite hand and asked about that issue. I explained that was a separate problem but couldn't get an appointment for that until another 45 days from today because of how plugged up the system was and the difficulty in short staff everywhere. He then said, would you like me to look at that as well? My answer was obvious. He confirmed what the problem was and said he would be right back. He had the staff verify my insurance, and returned 15 minutes later with the injection needed correct my other injured hand. THAT is patient care and service that should be the standard. As far as I'm concerned, he is absolutely hands down, no pun intended, one of the best doctors I've seen in years. I will request Dr. Laroche from here forward. Dr LaRoche was great, not rushed, not hurried, came into the exam room, did an evaluation, send a nurse in to do some work, then came back to check. Visited him 3 times, and each time it was a pleasant experience with plenty of opportunity to ask questions and get treatment. I don't think this is under his control but the hold time on the phone is long, as it is a practice with many doctors. I saw five different people once in the room. Someone getting my info, x-ray tech, Dr. Laroche, a guy who gave me a steroid shot in my wrist, and someone to give me extra information. I had an appointment w/Dr. Laroche on 12/08/20 at 8:30AM. I was in the back examination room at 8:32. They were (front of office) extremely organized and it made things flow very smoothly. Dr. Laroche was great. Very personable, and thorough. He’d explain what was going on and then he’d stop and ask me if I had any questions w/what he’d just told me. Then move onto the next thing, and again would stop after and ask if I had any questions. It’s an excellent “technique” because usually by the time a dr has finished telling you everything, that’s when they’ll ask if you have questions.
