Dr. Kevin Laroche joined Nevada Orthopedic & Spine Center in 2020. He specializes in managing injuries both nonoperatively and operatively by specifically utilizing evidence-based medicine to address pathologies from the fingertip to the shoulder. For injuries that require surgical operative management, Dr. Laroche performs some procedures using only local anesthesia allowing his patients to avoid general anesthesia.
Dr. Laroche was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. He attended Hunter College in New York City, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with honors. He went on to attend the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry where he earned his Doctor of Medicine degree. After medical school, Dr. Laroche completed his internship and orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA.
Following his time in Charlottesville, he completed additional subspecialty fellowship training in hand and upper extremity surgery at the Rothman Institute at Thomas Jefferson University. During his fellowship, Dr. Laroche received extensive and comprehensive training in hand and upper extremity surgery including microvascular surgery and upper extremity joint replacements. Also, he has multiple peer-reviewed publications and his research has been presented at regional and national conferences.
In his spare time, Dr. Laroche enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter.

He is very knowledgeable and to the point. He gained my trust immediately.His diagnostic exam with x-rays and findings was thorough. I had corticosteroid injection in both hands. Follow-up is in 4 weeks.
Love Dr Laroche. He listens to what you are saying. He doesn’t demand he only offers solutions with possibilities. In the end, you proceed in the manner which is best for you. No pressure! His staff responds to texts messages quickly and they work with your schedule. He remembers you and your spouse and the circumstances surrounding your visit. Highly recommend him what a great doctor. What a great partner in your healthcare.!
