In event I might need another operation in the future I always make sure I select an insurance plan that he is on. 10 years later lo and behold I likely need another surgery and I am very happy to have his services again. Dr. Behzadi has always invested the time to clearly explain my options for knee treatment (in my case, surgery). I’ve seen multiple doctors (including their reviewing my MRI(s), x-ray(s), etc.) and he is the only one who looked deeper into a challenge I’ve been facing with my knee to potentially identity and hopefully obtain a solution for it. He’s patiently listened to my questions and re-explained things if I didn’t get them the first time. And if, after answering the most surgery-relevant questions, he needs to go see other patients who are waiting for him, he connects me with an additional team member (for example, Maren — who has also been very empathetic, knowledgeable, and all-around helpful) to continue the conversation with me. When I visit Dr. Behzadi’s office, I feel I’m in good hands. I feel he and his staff have my best interest in mind, work with integrity, and are experts in their fields. I saw Dr. Behzadi for bursitis in my hip during the time I was training for a 60-mile walking event. With just a couple of months to go before the event, I was very worried I could not participate. He was so helpful, both with advice and treatment. He was patient, took the time to fully understand my history and situation, and with his guidance I was able to return to training and successfully complete my event -- I never could have done it without his care! this was an amazing visit with Dr. Bette. I have knees that have taken a bumper two over the years. In the matter of a short visit, he sorted out an action plan of how to resolve some initial soreness while ensuring the knees would be able to maximize their performance over the coming years. He did as well discuss alternatives such as full or partial knee replacement; but pointed out that there were a number of other steps along the way before resorting to that approach. I completely recommend him for anyone who has had a career of sports injuries or other problems with knees. If you are lucky enough to get time with him, you will certainly not regret it.
