I loved the fact that I could take my elderly father to see his Atlantic care cardiologist, then in the same building take him to the lab for lab work, his wait time was nothing, then over to get his chest x-ray, maybe a 15 min. wait and while he was waiting I was able to get his prescription filled and when I got back to the x-ray dept. the staff was helping my dad inside to have it done. My dad was in a wheelchair and to be able to get everything done for him that needed to be done under one roof was fantastic!! Friendly reception people, totally competent and compassionate technician performed the imaging. I arrived early and was accommodated; my scan started before my scheduled time! Best of all I received my scan results in about 2 hours, with the analysis of one of AMI's top-shelf doctors. I went and spoke to a very kind and helpful person at the front area and her name is Victoria. I explained my problem and she was able to speak with the Dr. to get the script I needed. They got me checked in quickly (I filled out the forms online before my appointment) & I waited not even 5 minutes before they took me in for my exam. When I got to the other waiting area, they gave me a warm gown to put on (that felt really nice) You put your belongings in a locker that is locked along with a key that you hold onto to. Your approach is very patient service driven and I sincerely appreciate the efficiency, professionalism, courtesy and expertise of the AMI staff and medical professionals. I have had many imaging screening during my lifetime and I have never met the radiologist. But I met my radiologist today was it was the best experience for me. The doctor went over my diagnosis and offered possible treatments to help manage my pain. He took his time with my screening and the made sure I had asked all of my questions. Your staff went well Above the normal patient care I was a patient in a wheelchair and they literally picked me up through Spasms and screaming and crying made me comfortable on the MRI table placed cushions under my legs to Alleviate the spasms and pain and that wasn’t easy they literally had to move each leg slowly they placed pillows under my head and carefully walked me through everything- and when it was over it was a repeat of spasms crying and screaming but they managed to help me in a very careful way I am with empathy your staff was wonderful I couldn’t wish for better people I actually was trying to have an MRI in the hospital when I was there for three months and no one would help me on the table so I was a little apprehensive about going to your facility because I was scared of pain and rejection but they did everything possible and my MRI is done maybe I can find out why I’ve had spasms and bilateral sciatica for over a month thank you again!rater8 Verified Patient

I just wanted to share my amazing experience with the AMI located in Manahawkin, NJ. At the front desk, you are greeted with friendly faces that provide instant comfort.
