Dr Lee is exceptional. I am a dentist and my hands are my livelihood. Dr. Lee was recommended to me by one of my patients, a retired orthopedic hand surgeon. Dr. Lee always puts a smile on my face. I started seeing him for his technical expertise in hand surgery (it went very well - I can play piano again, as he predicted) and now for follow up care. I was very happy with my visit to Dr. Lee. I was referred to him by Dr. Greg Werner for pain in my wrist.They booked me the same day. Registering and filling up the paperwork online was quick and easy. Upon arriving to my appointment, I was checked in, X-rays were made and the nurse assistant prepared everything for the doctor. I was ready to see him in 20min. He was cordial and after performing his diagnosis on my wrist and an echography, he quickly found the issue. Amazing! I first saw Dr Lee in 2018! He solved an issue I had with my thumbs as I have a tendency to read books of 900 Pages, so they were bending outwards and painful . He created an apparatus that I wore for a time, and the problem was cured. I now returned with other issues of pain in joints. He gave me insight into the reasons, and wonderful advice to help limiting increase to aggravating the situation. I left very pleased accepting my situation with aging and being given tools to deal with them. He has a wonderful presence in listening to specific questions and answering them precisely. Was referred to Dr Lee for issues with my elbow and wrist by one of his partners who I was seeing for my shoulder. Dr Lee is very knowledgeable and takes all the measures necessary to treat his patients. Unfortunately physical therapy did not work for me and he performed surgery on my elbow and wrist. I have had the privilege and pleasure of knowing Dr. Steven Lee since he did my rotator cuff surgery approximately twenty years ago (around 2003). ( I don't have my files handy as I wrote this review. ) Since then he has steered me through many crises brilliantly whether these happened to be a busted finger, an arthritic knee, or my recent more complex fall on a badly broken sidewalk in the dark for which I am currently in treatment for several body parts . It is difficult for me to say enough glowing words to satisfy my imagination about his way of treating me. He is always candid, caring, and really honest about his diagnosis . Dr. Steven J. Lee was highly recommended to me by the Urgent Care staff to follow up on pain from what had been diagnosed as a sprained wrist. I was able to get an appointment within two days of my initial call and got an MRI that same day at a facility recommended by the office. The MRI showed that my wrist had in fact suffered a non-displaced fracture that a previous x-ray did not clearly show. Dr. Lee recommended physical therapy and checked in on me monthly. He has always been polite and efficient and sends a report of each visit promptly via email.The front desk staff are efficient, pleasant and helpful. Sometimes there is a wait to see the doctor, but the waiting area is comfortable and the staff don't forget about patients who are waiting, informing them of any unusual delay.I have looked forward to my appointments because I feel well-taken care of by the staff and confident in Dr. Lee.Patient Submitted Review

I met Dr Lee about 10 or 11 years ago. Over that period, he performed 3 unrelated surgeries to reattach torn tendons and ligaments. I would say they were more complex and all 3 surgeries left me unscathed. I have full range of motion in my shoulder, elbow and thumb. I've recommended Dr Lee to many friends and I'm so thankful I found him. I wouldn't know I had these repairs as I've been left with no residual effects. Tuesday, Jan. 29th 2019I'm pretty much a heavy into it sports person all my life. I seriously use my hands.At 65 I still make my living as a skydiving instructor among other things. In a non-sports related mistake (figures), I managed to completely rupture the tendon on the back of my hand, third finger. 0 function. Not good considering it would end my love it above all else sport. Did a ton of research and went with recommendations for this surgeon at NY Orthopedics.Dr Steven Lee is a Bonafide Magician.Called on a Tuesday 13 weals ago, they got me in to him in Scarsdale for full testing onsite and diagnosis that following Thursday then in the city for a 1½ hour surgery the following Tuesday. Bam. I'm at 12 weeks today post op and along with with Lisa Dominck at Hands on Rehab in Valhalla, I am cut loose and at 100% fuctionality. Awesome. They saved the rest of my career.Everyone and everything about this experience (I can't believe I'm using these terms), was fantastic and even fun! Every person I came in contact with was pleasant, enjoying their work, incredibly professional and as I said about Dr. Lee, magic.Do not hesitate for an instant. Post-surgery MRI's showed that cartilage was actually regenerated and knee feels great. Have seen him for PRP treatments for a separate knee issue as well and went well.
