Today was my first time having an appointment with Dr. Lin and his team and everyone was so nice and supportive! I went to Visionworks to just get an eye exam to renew my license and the doctor there noticed something off with my retina and they immediately called Dr. Lin’s office for an emergency appointment and they took me right away. I was a little nervous because I wasn’t really sure what was going on with my eyes but his team gave me an extremely thorough exam in 3 steps and Dr. Lin took time to even give me another exam and it turns out I have Retinoschisis. I never heard of this but he explained everything to me and assured me I’ll be ok and I need follow ups every 6 months to keep it check. I’m so thankful I met him today and to see his background made me feel I am in the best hands possible for this new thing I need to watch. You never know how your day is going to go once you put your feet on the floor lol. I’m very happy this led me to Dr. Lin.

Vision in my right eye blurred on a Sunday and after a Monday visit to my ophthalmologist, he referred me to Vitreoretinal Consultants. I was fortunate enough to have an appointment with Dr. Lin at their Flushing location on Wednesday morning.
