Only reason he didn't get 5 stars was the long wait I had to endure before I could see him.

I don't feel he honestly cared enough , he was rough with his hands, than told me to wait a year for my eyes to get worst I've been working on computers for the last 15 years and will be doing so in the future, def going to get a second opinion elsewhere. My doctor advised me to get this super simple laser surgery that took a few minutes, not to mention taking off of classes just for my eyes to be dilated instead of handling the problem now instead of waiting a year. Hopefully another location is better.

Did not explain results of photos taken on retina, did not provide advice what I should be doing to avoid the same issue happens again. Ordered dye for blood vessels examination, but did not explain that it will change the urine color and any potential side effects. It appeared that the doctor checked Google for information at least twice,, then he looked at the imaging results repeatedly, such perception may lead to interpretation as lack of confidence or experience.

Seemed to be in a rush. Didn’t review any of the tests the technician did with me: eye pressure test, reading test, dot and line reading test. While he asked me my symptoms he didn’t really seems to interested in them. Upon completion of his exam he said my retinas were in good health and he had no idea why I had the symptoms I had.

I waited in the office for nearly three very cold hours, I asked to step outside to warm myself up until the doctor was available. I was called back within minutes at which point, the doctor rushed in, examined me and finished within seven minutes. He rushed so quickly, he called me back for a further pressure test he had forgotten to perform. I felt he was upset with me. I understand it's a busy medical facility. A seven-minute consult -- with testing -- is unacceptable. I felt I was punished for speaking up and saying 'I suffer Raynaud's and it's painfully cold in here'. He also answered a brief personal phone call. He took forever with other patients and rushed through my appointment??? My apologies, I don't mean to insult the good working doctors and nurses at this facility. Everyone else was courteous and professional.

Was told by a Dr. last year to see a specialist for Keratoconus and told this info to receptionist/appointment maker. She did not advise that Dr Lin is not a specialist in that. 2 1/2 hour wait in the office with 3 different team members and not one time did they mention that the condition on the referral was not a speciality of the office they’re employed for. Dr Lin was pleasant however the expectation should be to confirm the patient is coming to see the right Dr. And if not, refer them to the correct one before scheduling an appointment

Seemed friendly and knowledgeable but a bit limited in openness to discussing questions and concerns. Maybe the owners limit the doctors to five minutes a patient? I happened to overhear him say to another staff that there was no drusen. A previous dr there told me I had some drusen. Only because I overheard and asked, did I learn that I have no drusen after all. The last doctor I saw there was much more sharp and abrupt when I dared to ask a couple of questions, but I still think it wouldn't have bankrupted the practice if Lin had been open to a couple more minutes of back and forth.

Immature, unethical and unprofessional. Lin drenched my eyes with gels and drops, but never treated my eye with the shot he said I needed and was prepping me for in the three hours I was there. Not realizing I was behind him, I caught him speaking negatively about me and he then clamped my eye open and proceeded to interrogate me with unnecessary questions about my job and other irrelevant items before saying he was uncomfortable treating me and refused to do so. He is guaranteed to cause a lawsuit with this behavior. He never apologized or explained himself.

While he is an excellent doctor, His bedside manner is lacking.

Dr. Lin is very caring and thorough. From check in to check out it was all a great experience. The staff is happy and makes you feel welcomed. Tina prepped me for my laser and she was very comforting. The new Westbury office is so convenient to get to. I highly recommend !
