Started seeing Dr Tsai since 2013 when he did my husbands cataract surgery on both eyes 3 weeks apart.. He also did my cataract surgery on both eyes in 2017. Now just see him for yearly check ups. Dr.Tsai is highly qualified in his field. He has performed successful Cataract surgery and inserted two tiny stents which are effectively reduced presure (in both eyes)down to 12 mmHg without use of eye drops. My eye pressure levels was between 21-30 mmHg associated with glaucoma. I am extremely happy with his experience in early detection of health issues and take appropriate action. I have been seeing Dr. Tsai for about 15 years. Each time I go, he listens and answers all my questions. He did both of my cataract surgeries with very positive results. He did so well that my 90 year old neighbor got his courage up to finally take care of his cataracts. My neighbor had numerous questions and Dr. Tsai patiently explained each part of the procedure and what to expect. My neighbor had almost waited too long but Dr. Tsai skillfully removed the thick cataracts and my neighbor regained his eyesight. Dr. Tsai performed cataract removal and glaucoma (istent injection) surgery on both my eyes at the St Paul Eye Surgery Center at its Woodbury Surgery Center. I could not be more pleased with the results and the treatment provided by the clinic's entire staff. I was out of surgery within 20 minutes, had no pain or other side effects. Dr. Aaron Tsai performed some tests and recommeded a capsulotomy/IOL implant for each of my eyes. He carefully explained the available options, and the appropriate treatment was selected and scheduled. The results are spectacular! I met with Dr Tsai a few times and spoke to him several times by phone before going ahead with my cataract surgeries. He answered all my questions thoroughly. My procedures were a little complicated due to prior vitrectomy surgery in both my eyes and the degree of correction needed. Dr. Tsai has been my eye doctor for 20 years or so, has monitored me carefully for pre-glaucoma and chronic dry eyes and has always been thorough and concerned with my eye health. I recently had cataract surgery in both eyes with corrective lens implants. Although my case was complex (extreme myopia and astigmatism) the results were amazing. Dr. Tsai recently replaced my bilateral cataracts. At age 54 I have severe myopia, astigmatism and I needed reading glasses since age 40. Dr. Tsai took the time to fully explain to me my conditions and options and respected by judgement in how to manage them. The results I got from the cataract surgery are far better than I would ever imagined. Dr. Tsai is both technically very skilled and is, I believe, an artist in his work.
