He or his staff need to inform patients of additional testing being done during an Annual/Routine visit. I was highly disappointed to find out that he was no longer allowing me to make a Routine Annual exam simply because of thought I needed to be tested for Macular Degeneration, solely because he thinks that I am taking AREDS vitamins. I am not AND I do not have symptoms of macular degeneration, therefore HE should NOT be doing the test without giving me the option to okay it first with my insurance. WHICH by the way, might be covered 100% anyways. He did this test for 2023 and 2022 along with Routine /Annual visits and my BCBS Advantage paid them in full.

I don’t think he would give someone bad medical treatment, but his behavior is just kinda s——y. He clearly has plenty of other patients, and as well there’s too many ‘other’ doctors & clinics out there to stick with him further.

All the important aspects of this office great customer service, physician expertise) are spot on. One suggestion might be to have a room or two set up to easily accommodate wheelchairs. At present, tight turns and crowded rooms make it difficult for wheelchair patients and their families. Thank you.

I feel very comfortable entrusting my vision care to Dr Tsai. My cataract procedures went extremely well (with the monovision procedure I've been able to be totally free of glasses since my second eye's surgery was completed). I appreciate his yearly check-ups.
