Comprehsive physiological care is shown when Dr. Hackel spends time reviewing my personnal lifestyle and interests, physical challenges, pain management as well as psycological effects of orthopedic pain needs. He looks at all aspects of each physical body part need.He considers pathways for improving movement with regard to my daily ADL's by recommending pain management and physical therapy to have cònsistent relief of pain, flexibility, control and reactions to sustained activity with feet, legs, hips and full body spine movement relationship without surgery as a goal. He explains reason for options very well. My physiological and psycological health with less pain, solutions for improved consistent movement, flexibility, safety and encouragement of my mental well-being are always in his treatment plan. He helps me view how I maintain a happy and successful daily long-term assisted excellent health care plan for my limitations and challenges. I leave my treatment on each visit satisified, with goals, very happy, and with gratitude because of the treatment, and personal care that Dr. Hackel, his associates and his staff's expert care. I am not a statistic, because I have potential and support for accomplishing my personal lifestyle painfree goals.

Had my micro ablation frequency on my shoulder on 14 June. Was absolutely the best. A little pain when I woke up but that’s understandable. I can't say enough about Dr. Hackel. I've been going to him for about 12 years now and he is one of the best doctors I've ever had. Update 6/15/2024 Just completed a procedure. The entire experience from check-in to check-out was amazing. The entire staff are very professional and efficient. Dr. Hackel is fantastic. Highly recommended. He fixed my Elbow with one PRP (Platelet Riched Plasma) injection. He told me to take it lightly in the gym and also try BFR (Blood Flow Restriction) therapy. It all worked my tendon looks healed in six weeks. I plan on continuing with the BFR for six months. I have been seeing Dr. Hackel for several different problems every few years over a 10 year period. First, second and third procedures were because of tendinitis in my knees. One knee had to be repeated because of torn cartilage years later. Each time I was treated with stem cell, prp . Each time I got to him, especially the first time I hadn’t been able to walk for months. I was lucky enough to be referred to him by a prominent Orthopaedic Dr. in South Florida who tried but couldn’t help me. I truly love Dr. Hackel. As I write this I’m sitting in a hotel in Gulf Breeze after a corticosteroid diagnostic injection into my hip because of ongoing pain. After the injection I walked out pain free and not limping. He treats 100’s of Professional athletes across the nation. I’m always amazed at how he treats me as if I was a Professional athlete headed to the Super Bowl. Update ..Dr. Hackel did a steroid treatment on my elbow to address nerve tingling. I was beyond amazed. First the amount of time he took reviewing and preparing for this procedure. Second, except for a short time of lidocaine injection discomfort, there was no pain. He is incredibly knowledgeable and will always tell you if you need another specialty doctor. His analysis of our conditions, and recommendations have always been completely accurate, and I wouldn't see any orthopedic without consulting him. He is at Andrews Gulf Breeze. My appointment was on time, his staff was very friendly and professionally, and the all the services I received in the just over an hour I was there, was hard to believe. When Dr. Hackle entered the room. I have been to see Dr. Hackel several times over the past years as my hips have had trouble. I don't know how I could have better care. He spends time with you, asks detailed questions about how you are doing, and explains what he is going to do and why. I also think that the dynamics with the other Doctors at Andrews is great. I have been in the military system my whole life born, raised, and joined the military, that being said "I never knew how bad we had it as far as service members were concerned". Military service member's facilities and Veterans affairs are called "medical hobby shops" for a reason (Veterans are used as Guinea pigs). Going to this facility and meeting Dr. Hackel was like being in a wonderland of care and good service. It actually made me feel anxious about being there since things went soooooo smoothly (wierd). Thank you for helping me. My shoulder has been damaged since 1997 and this is the first time since my injury I have had it treated. Reason being I lost total confidence in the "Hobby shops" the government provides (rub some dirt on it and here is some motrin LMAO). I actually pray for the VA and military personnel since we are just 2% of the United States population that sign a contract to defend this country with a debt of up and to our' deaths... Five weeks ago Dr. Hackel performed outpatient Tenex procedure on one of my Achilles tendons. I wish I had visited him years ago! I am a runner and became more of a racewalker in the last few years because of my Achilles pain. I would racewalk through the pain, and I kept trying to "take care" of my tendonitis that turned into tendinosis, but to no avail. I am now in no pain and am able to walk without pain. I will be back to running in a few months and can't wait! It's definitely worth the time, effort, and money if any of you are suffering with ailments in which he can help! I've had providers that seem to be in a big hurry and didn't really seem to listen to what I was saying, but not this doctor. I've been having shoulder pain for just short of a year, and my previous provider sent me to physical therapy, and that was it. After total knee replacement in 2017 I was diagnosed with arthrofibrosis. This condition causes my body to produce excessive scar tissue around my knee. In order to keep the range of motion that I had become accustomed to I needed to stay active daily. This daily activity of exercising my knee would help to "break up" scar tissue as it formed. I continue to have great flexibility and motion, however the "breaking up" and "tearing up" of the scar tissue kept my knee in chronic pain. Dr. Hackel at The Andrews Institute in Gulf Breeze Florida (a 3 hour drive from my home) was recommended to me. I made the consult appointment and thereafter followed Dr. Hackel's recommendation about considering Radiofrequency Ablation. I chose RFA and am now 7 weeks past my procedure. I have been pain free since the procedure! Being in chronic pain effected so many areas of my personal life. Several years ago I had an issue with tennis elbow (from golfing). Dr. Hackel performed the Tenex FAST procedure on my right elbow. The procedure was a great option for my issue. Dr HackleI uses ultrasound to see exactly where to put a shot. I have seen him about my shoulder, which he found the true source of my pain and about my hip. The shoulder, he referred me to Dr Ostrander, who performed surgery and fixed my shoulder, after another orthopedic doctor preform surgery without using a current MRI, cleaned up my rotor cuff area of spurs, when actually the problem was a tear in my bicep. I have experienced some significant elbow pain from tendinitis. Two years ago Dr. Andrews repaired a ruptured tendon on my left elbow and it is at full strength.
