He earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of Georgia and his medical degree from the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine. Dr. Hackel completed his residency at Columbus Regional Medical Center before pursuing a Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship at the American Sports Medicine Institute under the direction of Dr. James R.
