Dr. Rhee is an amazing Dr. He's been treating my mom (Lorraine Beller) for diabetic retinopathy for many years. The treatment has kept her eyesight from getting worse. He is personable & a pleasure to see every 8-12 weeks. The office staff is phenomenal as well. Ellen behind the scenes is wonderful!!! Caroline at the front desk is a doll and so accommodating. Ten days ago I had eye surgery to remove floaters that have plagued my vision for the last 10 years or so. I cannot recommend my retina specialist high enough. I'd be so happy to refer him to anyone that is looking for a Retinal/Vitreous Specialist. They were so professional, the facility and staff were fantastic. After the surgery my doctor said he pulled a lot of junk out of my eye, and repaired a micro tear that he found way up in the very corner of my eye. I'm still recovering, though I was back working two days later. This past Thursday I followed up with my Doc. I tested 20/20, though I had my doubts. Doc said everything looks great. My eye was clear. Last night, nine days after surgery I was out driving and one thing struck me. I can see CRYSTAL clear. And I mean crystal clear. I had lasik surgery 18 years ago. My vision was terrible. -9.75/-10.0. Last year I succumbed and got glasses as I was 20/25 and not seeing things as clear as I had. I wasn't wearing my glasses last night and i could see clearer than I ever ever remembered. I was reading every sign. No matter how small the font. One of the bigger highlights when I go with my father is how the Front Office Manager Christina M greets my father. My dad's face lights up with a huge smile as Christina makes our visit seem like a holiday family gathering. Our stress and worries virtually disappear, because of her congenial nature. In addition to Christina's genuine care, she offers an Expertise along with a side of Professionalism you would hope to expect from any staff member at a medical practice. Her knowledge about the inner workings from a basic office visit to one of an emergency, always puts her right there with the answer to your concerns.
