I had an appointment with my 10 month old son today and the entire experience was excellent! Dr. Strampe was thorough, very kind, and made it a fun experience for him. My 5 year old daughter had her first eye exam with an optician here and we both enjoyed our experience. They were very patient and understanding with her lack of confidence in some of the tests. Dr Strampe was excellent - she was caring and answered all my questions and explained everything clearly. This was our first time seeing Dr. Strampe (annual eye exam for our son) and we were really impressed. Her assistant, Quinn, was so friendly and great at explaining all the equipment/procedures to help him get comfortable at the start of the appointment. Dr. Strampe was excellent also- very thorough and personable, including doing a great job answering our son's curiosity questions that came up during the exam. Dr. Strampe was personable and professional while examining my eyes, explaining the process and results along the way. I felt I received a thorough examination and am confident in the results of my eye-health checkup. I've always been treated well at St. Paul Eye Clinic in Woodbury. Dr. Stampe uniquely diagnosed the cause of my headache and double vision. She worked with my primary to get me initial medication and obtained a priority appointment for me with a specialist that did vascular surgery. She then referred me to a rheumatologist who monitored recovery from an autoimmune condition. Finally, Dr Stampe retested my eyes and issued a new optical prescription. I would give Dr. Stampe six stars if I could.
