The staff was kind & prompt & helped with all my needs. I am on crutches for a broken ankle. Dr. Hillock was prompt, kind & courteous as he corrected me as I was told all wrong information by the ER I went to in a surrounding small city where I broke my ankle. After much anticipation, I finally got to meet with Dr. Hillock. He is one of top tumor specialists here in las Vegas. I arrived 30 minutes prior to my appointment and was checked in immediately. His assistant brought me to the room and was very welcoming. As Dr. Hillock entered the room, he read my anxiety filled demeanor and immediately began to break the ice. He went over my MRI with me and answered every question I had. Although I was diagnosed with a long term disorder, he was able to make light of the situation and immediately began discussing a treatment plan. Fantastic doctor told me my knee surgery would be a ten day recovery and honestly it was a little less then that and you can barely even tell I had surgery knee feels Like new after 12 days with only two tiny marks on my knee. Short wait in the lobby, was able to fill out paperwork online before my appointment. The doctor explained my xray to me and the resolution he was suggesting for my condition. Very friendly and knowledgable although a little rushed. Provided answers to my questions but went on to the next patient quickly. After my accident and visit to the Summerlin ER; I was referred to see Dr Ronald Hillock for a follow-up visit... Since being absolutely new to Las Vegas i was reluctant on which doctor to see that would be able to provide medical attention that I could get up here.... After doing so and seeing the doctor he explained to me the diagnosis and damages to my shoulder that was by the accident when I fell... He sent me to physical therapy and put me on medication... Sent me to get a MRI which was determined that I had a torn rotator cuff and now I would be needing surgery... And was kind enough to refer me to a surgeon and even made sure his staff was able to get me scheduled in for a appointment soon. I'm so pleased with how this doctor really showed me he cared and I was not just another patient.... I would surely recommend this doctor for anyone that needed his medical services that experienced the symptom I did..... I was referred to Dr. Hillock by a friend, for a failed knee replacement done by a Henderson doctor that advertises on city billboards. I had a severe infection in the replacement, and was very ill. Dr. Hillock operated on the infected knee , removing the hardware and treating me with Iv drip for two months, erradicating the infection, then operating again to remove the spacer and install a new revision joint. This was a very dark time in my life , until Dr. Hillock saved me. Dr. Hillock is a Surgeon's surgeon, I'm very greatful to him for what he did for me. Dr. Hillock replaced both of my knees this past year an a half. He listened and explained everything to me and made sure I had home PT for 2-3 weeks after I got out of the hospital, then outpatient PT afterwards. Staff is very nice. I called left message for any concerns and questions and they had called me back within 2-3 hours. Would recommend Dr. Hillock to my family and friends.
