Broke my left hip this time around. Dr. Hillock is mot only a great surgeon; he has a phenomenal bedside manner!

Bedside manner was not one I cared for! I felt dismissed and unimportant.

Provided clear information on my issues and what the next steps to take to prepare for surgery.

Thought the doctor seemed very competent. My only criticism was that he spent no time talking to me on what I was experiencing. I did have other questions but he moved so quickly I was just trying to keep up and didn't feel I could digest the info or ask questions.

Nothing dr Hillock did but i had a very unpleasant experience checking in for my appt this morning. My appt was 10:45am thurs. 3/28 i wasnt seen until 12noon thats awful customer service i was there standing on line 30 mins before my appt. The 1st attendant who saw me had the nerve to say your late for the appt and i didnt complete the paperwork. I began to walk out in discuss when the manager stepped in to prevent me from walking out then when i finally saw Dr Hillock he brushed my concern asside didnt apologize and just asked me if i wanted to reschedule. Thats absolutly terrible and the good doctor might want to brush up on people skills. One things for sure ill never return there special thanks to the office mgr and the lead assistant for stopping me from walking out without learning my results

Time went fairly quickly once in the rm. I was able to express more to his assistant. Then the doc comes in sees the X-ray and makes his call. Being in the plus size categories leaves us without being listened to. He made his decision came to his conclusion and let me know if I do need surgery in the future I have to lose weight. I didn't get a chance to ask the many questions I had, even the nurse who gave me my paperwork made it clear the convos was meant to be short. Not even given a follow up apt. I don't think docs understand how difficult it is for some of us to have to go to a stranger and ask for help.

I explained I went to pain management and have received injections for years.. So he gave me injections in each hip..Then the nurse gave me a Physical Therapy referral and told me to come back as needed..Not a friendly Dr. Don’t think I need to go back.

It was his nurse practitioner Jessica Russian, APRN she was perfect and understood my situation.

No interest in discussing my situation. Realize he's taking over Dr Allen's cases(my surgeon), Dr Allen has related. but no reason to simply blow off my complaints. Didn't take any new x-rays and stated everything in perfect alignment and additional PT not needed as what would it accomplish - possibly strengthen my knee. Just do your home exercises.

Waited well past my appointment time to get into exam room. Dr. ordered P.T. but didn't tell me so I was not able to discuss with him.

He really does care about his patients

My first consultation, excellent service, very professional, explanatory and humane. In your hands I put my hopes for recovery.

I liked him, told me the facts, treated what I needed treatment for and sent me on my way. I got a good explanation of pertinent information and reconfirmed the course of action I need to go forward with.

It was very nice to meet my doctor and got good news he is going to do my surgery I've been waiting for a long time I've already went to several doctors and he agreed to do my surgery and very happy I am scared but I've heard that he is a good doctor so I know he will do a good job. I felt like I was in a factory. Was not pleased at his diagnosis. Like I did not know after over 12 years what my knee needs.

Check in was a struggle and took too long. There were 6 people in front of me and only 2 people receptionist. Took 15 min just to check in. Another 15 minutes to be called by assistant. The rest of the visit was great.

Dr.Hillock Is a master surgeon. Your in great hands with him and his staff.

This is my second appt with Dr.Hillock and it will be my last. He is a poor communicator .Who provides the bear minimum concerning my condition.Also appears irritated when I'd ask questions concerning my diagnosis and his recommendation. Dr. Hillock has displayed a lack of interest in me as a person who is seeking medical treatment by his rude and unprofessional proclivity. Anyone that I would refer, I'd tell them to avoid Dr.Hillock at all cost.

The staffers at the Reception Desk were exceptionally inappropriate. Starlata had a very Negative attitude when she couldn't find the 11:30 Appointment for Rae Simeone on 6/27. It was Rana Camacho who called us late on 6/26 and gave us this new Appointment. Rana then forgot to enter this new Appointment into the computer. Rana also forgot to cancel our appointment at 6:00 on 6/26. Starlata insisted that our appointment was on 7/17 and told us to leave and return on that date. Rana NEVER gave us an appointment for 7/17. When she called us on 6/26 to Cancel our 6:00 appointment... she told us, your new appointment is tomorrow, 6/27 at 11:30. She never entered this new Appointment in the computer and Starlata gave us a lot of difficulty when we kept insisting that we are here for our 11:30 Appointment. Rana Camacho is very INCOMPETENT at her job and we never want to deal with her again. Please Call Rae Simeone, 917-502-7889

Office staff was great. Very friendly. Dr was quick and he assured me he is the best. I felt confident. At first I was nervous.

He is not very friendly, doesn't really like to be asked questions he says to wait for the discharge nurse to come in . Doesn't even look at you in the face. Poor service . He's in and out like in 5 minutes. I don't think he really cares about the patient he just wants to hurry up and go to the next patient.

I waited 2hrs in the lobby then I get to the back and there was an 8 min visit with him. He came in personable. Looked at the xrays and gave a diagnosis. While sitting there waiting on the ladies to bring the final piece of paperwork to conclude the visit, I thought of a question to ask him. She told me she would get him so I waited. He came in 3mins later and said you have another question for me. I asked my question, he shook his head and I was trying to show him the reason in which i asked the question I did. He turned his back and was walking out saying nope its this and we're going with this treatment. I'm not second guessing his diagnosis but I had confusion with prior diagnosis and I wanted clarification. After talking to my primary care just know and informing her of the situation she will speak with someone to help clarify for me since Hillock was bothered and short today. It's upsetting when the bedside manners and accolades don't match.

When I initially called your facility whoever I spoke with had poor phone Etiquette when I simply was asking questions. Otherwise today the staff was friendly, courteous and the facility was clean. The doctor and prognosis eased my worry, especially with so many health diagnosis, I feared the worst.

Dr. Hillock is an arrogant jackass and I’m sorry I wasted my time with him. He sent me to therapy and waited 3 months to tell me he wouldn’t do surgery on my hips because I weigh too much. He NEVER stated this in my initial visit. He never said that if I don’t lose x- amount of weight I can’t do surgery. I’m 50 years old, and I’ve seen dozens of doctors and he is easily the most unprofessional, unethical one I’ve ever seen. In my opinion he decided at my first visit that he didn’t want to do it for whatever reason. But he wanted to charge my insurance for the follow up visit because he could. I’ve been out of work for 14 months and haven’t looked for a job because I thought I would be having surgery. My family has made enormous sacrifices for nothing because he was a coward and wouldn’t be straight forward with me. I hope the interns that we’re following him in the office don’t act like Hillock later in their careers. Publish that review online.

His office and staff are excellent. But I haven't actually seen the Dr. Himself in over a year. He has his nurses give me the injections. I've been seeming him since 2018. He took over Dr. Nevins patients, when he departed the practice.

Fantastic doctor told me my knee surgery would be a ten day recovery and honestly it was a little less then that and you can barely even tell I had surgery knee feels Like new after 12 days with only two tiny marks on my knee. Recommend dr hillock to anyone looking for a 10 out of 10 doctor from bedside manner to surgeon skills and his office staff is excellent as well

Was in and out in 30 secs . Saw 3 different people . A PA, intern , then doctor last. I had to repeat myself 3 different times. Was very unhappy. They have you feel out all the paperwork and never read it.

The nurse was excellent !

Saw Dr Hillock for a lesion on my right hip. We did some tests and ultimately i got an injection for arthritis. He is unable to do anything about the lesion. He was very friendly and knows what he is doing.

My experience with Dr. hillock was okay, not great and not horrible. He seemed like he was rushing to leave the room and he was more concerned with telling me what my ideal weight should be ( I am obese, and acutely aware of it every moment) than how to help me find solutions to my weight problem which is likely causing and/or worsening my back pain. Overall, he just didn’t seem like he cared much about my concerns or pain. He did, however, refer me for an MRI and follow up with a spine specialist which will hopefully lead to answers.

He was there briefly took a look at my x ray gave me options for treatment and then left.

Waited a whole month to see him and on the day of my dr appointment, I sat in the lobby for 45 minutes and he saw me for 2 minutes, if that, and said he couldn't help me with me medical problems.

Dr. Hillock was professional, informative, and friendly. I am confident that he and his staff will help me get through the process.

Too me Dr R. Hillocks is one of the Best in his field. When I was in Centennial Hills Hospital Medical Center for my Hip Replacement the staff all spoke very Highly of Dr. Hillocks.

My experience with Dr. Hillock was excellent and his "bedside manner" for me was just what I needed to get me through the surgery. Dr. Hillock is very unprofessional and has no compassion. We have had several encounters regarding my medical treatment and I'm finally fed up with his behavior. He does not like to answer questions and has no compassion. I am a medical professional and see a lot in my hospital, however, I have never encountered a professional like him. Today, when he initially visited me in the room, I was asking him questions regarding the pain I was experiencing, and before I could continue he got up and left the room. I requested him to return in order to finish my questions and he reluctantly answered them but also stated "I have patients to see to". If I'm not mistaken, I am a patient too and to spend 15 minutes to ensure your patient medical care, concerns, and well-being is met should not a burden. I am very unhappy with his ongoing unprofessionalism. His behavior is awful alone, but to have student interns present is even worse.

I felt he was very direct and knowledgeable with information. Told me exactly we were at with treatment, and was willing to help. He listened to me and helped me make a plan to get started with my treatment right away. I left having received the help I needed for my pain, which really meant a lot to me. I’m very grateful.

I like that Dr Hillock wanted to find out if there was any other problems with my knee and he suggest that I have an MRI.

I waited an hour and 10 min. In a cold room and left. The Dr, was busy laughing at something on his phone. He aleardy told me there was nothing they could it was just arthritis an at my age surgery probably wasn’t an option. I would never recommend this to anyone.

Waited an hour for an 8 minute visit.

It was a short visit, but Dr. hillock did listen and diagnosis it. I was glad to hear I’m not ready for a hip replacement. I will go to PT and hope for the best.

Dr. Hillock is professional, and has a complete air of confidence. Our consultation consisted of necessary medical history, and then analyzing the MRI results. He told me exactly what we needed to do and we scheduled surgery immediately. He did a most amazing job. PT people are astonished at how well I came through this surgery; indicating the doctor did an exceptional job. I highly recommend Dr. Hillock and credit his experience to such a positive outcome. Further, I am impressed with the clinic, the staff and cleanliness of the facility.

Capable and caring

Good bedside manner. Great with the injections I had. You can tell he does it in his sleep because he’s so smooth and matter of fact with it — and I’m allergic to pain so this is a high compliment coming from me.

Dr Hillock will listen and will find a solution. I have been in his care for over a year and if I had a question he would answer. Dr Hillock has even called me after hours. Thankful for his dedication to his patients.

I am so happy my primary referred me to Dr Hillock! He replaced my right hip with such precision that I was walking the same day! 3 weeks later almost no pain and 6 weeks out I’m ready to go dancing! He doesn’t care for his patient’s. It took the doctor 3 minutes to look at my mri and tell he can give me two shots for pain and when I told him but I am taking pills for he said ok and left with no explanation of what my problem is what is causing the pain.

Although my most recent meeting with Dr. Hillock was short I feel he is a great doctor. I feel very lucky to have had him as my surgeon. I also appreciate his humor and quick wit. For me I thought he had an excellent bed-side manor.

Could be friendlier. Thought he would be more knowledgable with my injury. Now being referred to sports dr. Was told he might know more. Why didn't Dr Hillock consult with sports Dr just to see if their is another option for my injury. But instead I have to come in again, see new Dr and pay another copay.
