I have severe arthritis in my Thumbs which causes me a lot of pain. I come in every 3 months for injections into the joints to help manage them. Though painful Dr.Stachler does an amazing job with the injections. My quality of life has improved 100% since I am on the computer all day for work. The staff are also very nice and professional. Dr. Stachler did my knee replacement last year and he was so wonderful. I have been having some other issues now with my hip and knee and once again he is just so great. I really wanted to just take the least aggressive route for now and he really gives a lot of advice and let's me decide what I feel is good for myself while making sure he is giving options that will help with pain and discomfort no matter which route I decide to take. I find him to be attentive and speaks to me on a level I understand. He looks me in the eye, I am not a number or a bother. He does not hurry and he is very patient and listens to all my concerns. Dr Stachler office is wonderful, from the front desk to check out. Everyone is lovely. I love the fact the first thing they do is x-ray no questions about it. Then the nurse sets takes detail notes and then the doctor comes in and listens to you. Dr Stachler paid close attention to my concerns and knew exactly what I was talking about even in my back woods words. He then took the time to explain to me my options and let me choose which way I wanted to go. That is respect in my book... Recovering from total knee replacement on my right knee after having my left knee last August. Last year's went great. Recovery went well. The right knee had excelled. I'm at least two weeks ahead of schedule with my therapy. The incision is healing with no effects. The whole process- with both knees- has been amazing! I Love Tier One!!! Just had my second knee replacement in a year, both performed by Dr Shawn Stachler and his team. I use the word performed, because Stachler is an absolute maestro when it comes to knees! My second, done two weeks ago, along with some great therapy by Results PT in Sparta, has me, I believe, Two Weeks ahead of last year's knee. Little to no pain to speak of, and strength is coming back even faster for this knee. When the Doctor saw my knee he said he would rather not operate until the swelling went down. He postponed my surgery for one week and then did a magnificent on my knee. I didn't see Dr Stachler but I saw his PA Jacob Wallace instead. Jacob diagnosed my LH index finger issue (apparently correctly) as trigger finger even though the symptoms presented are different than the trigger finger episode I experienced in my LH ring finger a couple of years ago. He applied a shot of cortisone and ordered a prescription of a topical gel and scheduled a follow up in 4 weeks.. I'm seeing very positive results after only a couple of days. Jacob's manner (as well as the entire staff at the clinic) was very efficient and professional in every aspect and I am quite pleased with the quality of care I received. I had a bad fall and broke multiple bones in my right shoulder. I was in tremendous pain and Dr. Stachler went to extra trouble to get me into surgery THAT DAY for a complete reverse shoulder replacement. What a FABULOUS, medical, experience!! Dr. Stachler repaired my right hand with a surgery for carpal tunnel, and repair of 2 trigger fingers. I had waited too long and one of my fingers, was about useless. The surgery gave me my hand back!! EXCELLENT work by this surgeon!! During our first visit, he took the time to explain everything, and made sure I had all of my questions answered. He spent a lot of time with me, to make sure I felt, completely, confident. He, and his team are fabulous!! April scheduled my surgery efficiently and took time to answer my postop questions. Kristen removed my stitches efficiently and quickly. Dr. Stachler was absolutely a pleasure to work with. He completely reconstructed my daughter’s knee and we couldn’t have been more pleased. He took the time in surgery to go the extra mile and ensure my daughter would not have any more problems including canceling the rest of his afternoon surgeries to ensure he could spend the time fixing everything that needed to be fixed the right way and thoroughly the first time. He truly cares takes the time to explain things is always available if we needed anything. Additionally my daughter is wanting to go to medical school and he went above and beyond by offering to help her through the process of choosing a school helping in any way he can. Dr Stachler replaced my hip and shoulder. Tomorrow, December 14, he will again do surgery on the arm of the shoulder replacement because I broke my arm just below my shoulder. Dr Stachler always explains all procedures and what to expect afterwards. When I see him in the office with a list of questions, he takes the time to answer each one. Dr. Stachler is a young, very knowledgeable orthopedic surgeon. He explains very well his diagnosis and recommendations. When I wasn’t sure about what he was saying, he took the time to explain in a manner that was completely understandable. He is caring, as is his entire staff! I had reconstructive knee replacement surgery and was walking without the aid of additional support within 3 days. Dr. Stachler made sure that I knew what to except before, during and after surgery. Been having knee pain for years. It was mainly due to my job, installing floors. I had crawled around on them for over 49 years. I had to retire early because of the pain. Heard stories of people who had bad experiences with knee replacement. We moved to Tennessee in September of 2018. I came to Tier 1 in November and met with Dr Stachler. He explained what he would do to replace the knees, and straighten out everything so I would be able to walk better and have little to no pain. He was very personable and easy to talk to. I had my right knee done in January, and then the left in August. He was very professional and took time to answer questions, and show me just what he would do. The recovery time was excellent, and therapy went very well. Recovery on second knee was better than first. Dr Stachler did my total right knee replacement in June. Everything went fine. The people in therapy were really impressed with how he closed the wound. I really liked how he was personable, patient and through in explaining the procedure. I had a separated AC joint that required surgery. That is a particularly tricky surgery. He did a great job. The scar is not as impressive as I thought it would be, in fact it doesn’t look bad at all. He was always straight forward about my condition and the options available. I think most important to me was that I had input into my treatment. He listened to what I had to say and provided feedback, when appropriate, he agreed and followed what I wanted to do. Dr Stachler is VERY thorough, has a wonderful bedside manner and always takes time to explain what the injury is/was, how he did or will fix it, and what to expect after surgery. He is firm but gentle and takes time to answer questions.
