Two years ago on Easter Sunday my husband had a major heart attack. Dr. Haghighat was at the ER that night and took charge of his care. He consulted with a heart surgeon because he felt like he probably needed open heart surgery. He'd just recovered from covid and acute bronchitis so his pulmonary test was too weak for open heart surgery and felt like the risk was too high even though he really needed it. They were upfront about his chance of surviving if he had nothing done. So we decided to let Dr. Haghighat place stents in the blockages. As soon as the surgery was over they immediately came and brought us back to an office next to where my husband was and explained everything about what was done and why, with images of his heart. Dr. Haghighat seemed as excited as we were because I honestly thought I was going to lose my husband. About 7 years ago I could only walk about 5 blocks before my left leg would cramp up from blockages. He cleaned it out and it is still working fine. Recently, right leg blockages were causing discomfort, especially when playing pickleball. It was more extensive than expected and very blocked from top to bottom. Dr Haghighat and his crew worked 4 hours until 8pm cleaning it out and putting in 3 stents. I was so thankful for them and I can now feel my toes and am back playing a mean game of pickleball and I'm 80 years old. I went to see him in 2021 after having to return from an overseas work trip early due to a heart condition and he did a thorough workup of everything and actually listened to what I was saying and developed a plan from there. Dr. Haghighat has been treating me for the past several years! He has pulled me through a number of life threatening conditions. I feel like I owe my life to Dr. Haghighat because of his wonderful skills to treat my heart. He wants each of his patients to not just get better but to improve their lives. My husband has been a patient of Dr. Haghighat since we moved here in 2014. The first visit with him we felt as if we new him for many years and on a personal level. Dr. H is a very kind friendly , caring man not only to his patients but to their loved ones as well. Questions are always answered and also shown by diagram, with complete explanation. Amazing Doctor! Dr. Haghihat has saved my life on several occasions. He and his staff have always shown genuine concern and have the rare ability to explain each procedure in a way that helps ease minds. Yes I said each procedure, you see he has repaired me with 6 stents! It's really no wonder patients come from the world over to seek his genius. Bye the way, his associates at Cardio.
