I’m not confident that he had the correct information to make the diagnosis he did. The appointment felt rushed and he was referring to notes from my primary care provider from my phone and I’m not sure if he looked at them in the correct order of events. He was concerned that my blood pressure was too high and I failed to tell him I had done a 30 minute rigorous workout which may have been the reason for that. He came across as scolding me before he left the room which threw me off guard since I was the one to initiate the referral to a cardiologist with my primary care provider (specifically Dr. Haghighat) because I had experienced shortness of breath and heart palpitations and due to family history.
