My injuries are not cause from sports I walked on my ft hurting for a year thinking I just sprained it only it got worse and worse needless to say I tore my Tendons in my ft not just once but again a month maybe 2 months after he cleared me needless to say we both was shocked but he repaired it AGAIN been good since that was 2 years ago. I had issues with my left ft also and lil by lil together we will get through this . Very nice staff Expecilly his right hand med Assistant( BRI ) them working together have a great working system. I am very pleased with the bunionectomy surgery. My surgeon Dr. Kuruvilla did an excellent job, explaining beforehand that it would be quite painful, and he was right. It has been nearly eight month since the surgery, and I am already able to use my foot and have regained 88% of my big toe's flexibility. Dr. K saves the day yet again. I managed to slice my foot on a broken glass pepper shaker, it cut pretty deep. Not only did I need stitches, I also landed myself on crutches and in a boot. I was seen on January 12, 2021 for a “High Ankle Sprain”. The front desk receptionists and technicians were thorough in getting me checked in for my appointment, to great customer service, to being checked out and rescheduling a follow-up appointment. Dr k is awesome he is fast efficient and he really cares about his pt. I do not like needles and barely notice when I have to get my shots cause he genuinely keeps me distracted. He remember things about me and asks about them at visits. This office is awesome. The staff was so nice and efficient. I was called to the back within 10 minutes after completing my paperwork. After talking to the nurse I had an X-ray done and that took all of 2 minutes for the results. That was nice. The Dr came in to my room and talked to me about my X-ray and said that I needed an unltrasound. After the 2 tests he knew exactly what was wrong with my ankle. He was so informative and helpful, I was so pleased with him. If there is anyone that has foot or ankle issues I would recommend him to anyone. I have had pain and tingling in my feet for many years. I'm so glad I found Dr. K online while doing some research...he explained to me why I had the issues I did and he was able to treat and correct the problem. He was very friendly and knowledgeable and didn't talk down to me. All the staff members I have talked to, whether on the phone or in person, are very polite and upbeat. I didn't have to wait very long in the office either, which was nice. I also have back problems so sitting for long periods aggravates it, lol. I have seen a LOT of doctors in Las Vegas and the treatment I received by Dr. Kuruvilla is very rare. I tell all my friends and family to see him when they have foot or ankle problems. Wow! We went to Dr. Kuruvilla after my 17 year-old daughter, who plays competitive volley ball, was put in a cast for three months(!!) by another doctor who said she just had tendonitis and plantar fasciitis but wanted her to stay off it. The very next day after getting her cast off, she had a full break in her ankle during warm-ups. We researched and found Dr. Kuruvilla who explained the reason for her injury and tightness in her tendons is because of a genetic ligament issue that's out of our control. She literally teared up finally getting the real answer of why she was always in pain and now we know how to treat it before it starts because of Dr. Kuruvilla's expertise! Dr. K is awesome. Found him by checking this website and thank the good lord he was part of BCBS. He is the 3rd doctor I saw for my foot pain and he is the only one I felt comfortable with to do surgery. Bedside manner is always positive and I have never waited long for appointments. His staff is also very polite and professional and goes above and beyond. When I went in to pay my bill I had asked if I could speak to a nurse quickly regarding a question or two. Jen G actually came out into the waiting room so I didn't have to walk back into the offices and spent a good 20 minutes answering all my concerns. Haven't seen that kind of care in a doctors office in quite some time. Thanks Jen! Dr. K is part of the Durango Surgical Center and they were all wonderful there as well. Dr. K is an amazing surgeon! He found my ankle fracture and bone chip when 4 other doctors did not. My surgery went very well and because I fell on my crutches and had to have another bone removal surgery that went very well. He is very caring and will listen to anything you have to say.
