I love Dr.Ryan. I sincerely hope that you never have to go through the excruciating pain I experienced from a herniated disk in my lumbar area. It has been two weeks now since Dr Ryan operated. I feel great absolutely no pain. I am doing exceptionally well because I had an exceptional surgeon.

Dr Ryan performed a disc laminectomy on me two weeks ago. I was in the worst pain I ever experienced. I’m 78 years old and was terrified of having surgery. Now I feel so good, it’s unbelievable. He was a God send. Very kind and caring. I love him and even though he is very busy he worked me in quickly. I will never forget what a wonderful surgeon he is as well as a wonderful man. My sister referred me to Dr. Ryan ; he had did her hips and knee surgeries and she was very pleased. I’m so happy she did. When I went to see Dr Ryan , I was in extreme pain and my legs were numb, I found comfort in no position. He did X-rays and determined my 3-4-5 lumbar needed surgery; He did the surgery and the pain was so much better and continued to improve throughout my 7 weeks of recovery. I am pleased to say my sutures are almost invisible , so I can continue with sundresses . I am very pleased with my outcome. He and his staff were very kind and understanding of my need . I had total knee replacement in July after two years of putting it off. Dr. Ryan was highly recommended to me by a number of nurses & nurse practitioners. I trusted them & I’m so glad I did! The surgery went great & my pain was managed effectively throughout my recovery. Dr. Ryan listened to me, answered my questions & never made me feel hurried or stupid. Despite my age & weight, I finished therapy 2 weeks ahead of schedule with FULL range of motion - 132 degrees! I followed his instructions & that of PT to the letter and it paid off. I can walk better than I have in many years. There were other patients in therapy that used different surgeons & some didn’t get the care or results I did. His staff is second to none, especially his assistant. I never had to wait long when I had an appointment & they got me in and out quickly every time. Dr. Ryan had monitored a knee injury for years until it was clear I needed a replacement. A year ago he did a knee replacement. I am so glad I had the surgery. I have had an excellent recovery and now I can do what I had lost the ability to do. But then this summer I had an accident that resulted in a serious break with my wrist. He immediately scheduled surgery and worked with me to get back what I had lost. His skills are excellent, but his compassion means equally as much. I have been seeing Dr. Ryan for knee and hip problems He found a fx on my leg that explained why I wasn't able to put much weight on it He didn't brush me off, he was patient, and did an MRI and found it. Also I had hip and knee problems that both required a total replacement, and I did very well without complications, and now walking great.
