UPDATE: 9 years later I re injured myself. Guess who I came back to? Just like before he did an amazing job restoring my way of life repairing my back with 2 herniated disc this time! Can’t tell you enough how grateful I am to have a doctor like him in our area of North Texas! After fighting sever back pain from a bulged disc for over a year Dr. Brezina made it all better. I can't tell you how scared I was to undergo surgery at just 31, but totally worth it. I have my quality of life back and can play with my kids again. Highly recommended.Patient Submitted Review

I was pleasantly greeted when I called to make my appointment and I was surprisingly able to get an appointment In days with Dr Brezina. Everyone that I had contact with was so very pleasant, and patient. Dr. Brezina was very kind, and not rushed to explain my diagnosis. Dr Brezina spent a great deal of time with me. He calmly, precisely explained the surgical procedure to make sure I understood what the surgery would entail and the post-op. I was very impressed with he not rushing me into surgery, but gave me other options. When and if I decide to do surgery, he will be my choice. I Felt very secure with his knowledge and experience in the Type of surgery I am needing. Glad I was referred by a friend. Dr Brezina did my L3-S1 fusion on Dec 1 st 2025, then had to back Dec 10, no fault of Dr., just God intervening - how blessed to have such a caring, Knowledgeable doctor in Dr Brezina. Dr Brezina did back surgery on my L4 and L5 in 2011. When I had problems in 2024 with my L3 I went back to Dr Brezina because of the good results from 2911 and t have the same great results from his surgery in 2025 for my L3 connecting to the L4. I highly recommend Dr Brezinarater8 Verified Patient

I had back surgery March 18, 2019. This would be my second back surgery, the first was back in 2005. The first surgery was a laminectomy fusion on L4, L5. & S1. done by a different doctor. After fighting back pain for 14 years. Dr. Brezina recommended fusing the L3. I am happy to say after 14 years I am pain free. I highly recommend Dr. Brezina if you have back problems. After years of progressively worsening back pain, my primary doctor encouraged me to see Dr. Brezina. He is conservative and suggested trying other options (therapy and injections) first but neither gave permanent relief and I had lumbar fusion surgery to correct a herniated disk and other issues 3 months ago. Despite 12 previous orthopedic operations (knee & shoulder; competitive sports can do that), I was very tentative about having this done. The results have been amazing ….. pain was gone immediately, I was walking 3+ miles/day in less than a month, and the majority of range of motion has now returned. I could not be more impressed with Dr. Brezina from all aspects and have already referred several people with similar issues to see him. There is nothing easy about this type of procedure and it requires work. But I can now play with my grandkids and am on the way to returning to the activities I enjoy.Patient Submitted Review

If it were not for Dr. Brezina I don't think I would still be walking. My back was so messed up I could hardly walk. Dr. Brazina is very professional and has performed many cervical and lumbar surgeries. My surgery which was the more complex of the two was a cervical discectomy and fusion which he executed with total precision. He answered all my questions and his confidence quelled all my concerns. I have been coming to Dr. Brezina for over the past two years and have had more visits then I can count with him. Amazing Doctor is all I have to say about him!! Broke a bone on my lower spine that a previous Doctor couldnt seem to find. Dr. Brezina tried numerous alternatives before surgery and never once did he push surgery on us. I finally went to him after months of trying alternative and asked for the surgery. Two surgeries later (one to put hardware in and then a year later to remove) I have a scar down my back that is so neat and clean cut I couldn't have asked for anything better. I would recommend this doctor to anyone and everyone who has back pain. I went to having pain 24/7 to now being almost completely pain free. (I've had two surgeries and a broken back, I don't expect to be pain free 100% of the time. I will ache from time to time and would take that any day over what I used to feel) I am actually able to be active once again all thanks to God leading us to this doctor and giving him the skill he has.Patient Submitted Review
