As an RN I’ve worked with a lot of Docs but he goes above and beyond. He is very kind, compassionate, and caring. I highly recommend him for any orthopedic issues you may have.

When I was told that my total knee replacement would take a year to heal I was a little discouraged. Five months after my surgery I began umpiring High School Fastpitch and then continued throughout the summer doing multiple USA Tournaments. I've worked about seventy games this season and I can say my knee has never felt better. I haven't used heat or ice packs at all this year and my flexibility is great. I was visiting from out of state and I had an issue with my already broken arm. I called and the office staff got me in within two hours! And Dr. Ryan McNeilan Treated me with respect and expert knowledge. He thought I might need surgery but being out of state I didn’t want to do that. So he was willing to try close reduction in the office under local and cast wrist in an attempt to prevent surgery! My daughter suffered a rolled ankle in a volleyball open gym and had her sports physical that evening. Dr McNeilan not only is a great doctor but also a great person, donating his time helping assess student athletes for their sports physicals. He and his physician assistant saw my daughter and suspected my daughter might have a hairline fracture in her ankle. He made her an appointment for the next morning and the PA confirmed the hairline fracture. Had Dr McNeilan not donated his time and knowledge, I feel confident my daughter's ankle would have gone undiagnosed and not healed correctly. 2 weeks in a boot and a follow up appointment has my daughter back to normal activities. Dr McNeilan is a young, fairly new (in practice about 3 yrs) orthopedic surgeon who has had advanced training in the newest techniques and has not yet limited himself to one specially area. I like that since I have multiple ortho issues. He always listens and explains all options including non-surgical treatments. Unfortunately, we spent a lot of time with Dr. McNiellan due to sports injuries and a collarbone fracture requiring surgery but Dr. McNiellan and staff were always the best at making things “better”. Communication and trust are always key for us and during this time we felt in good hands and appreciated the commitment and dedication.
