Both my husband and I have come to rely on him as our retinologist. We are glad he's back. There was a time when I became anxious about my diagnosis but Dr Kaufman took the time to contact me personally by phone and letter to reassure me. Since then he has been monitoring my atypical Drüsen for over 10 years now. For the past few months my husband has been receiving eye injections. From the time I spoke to a staff member on the phone concerning my vision concerns I felt comfortable. I was scared because I was getting needles in my eye to reduce swelling and to improve my eyesight. Dr Kauffman was thorough explaining the procedure and explained that I would be numb and I would be ok. He made every effort to make sure I was numb and calm. did not take long to see the doctor. my wife is seeing Dr Kaufman for Macular Degeneration. she looks forward to her appointments with Dr Kaufman. She knows he will do his best to help her with her vision problems. He doesn't treat her like a speciman on a petri dish. Dr Kaufman and the staff explain what's going on and what to expect from her treatments. i would recomend this group to anyone.
