This was a consultation at my request to discuss my newly diagnosed Type 2 diabetes. Despite not being an area normally in his cardio specialty, he addressed all of my questions and concerns in addition to referring me to a doctor that he felt was ideally suited to my new, 81 year-old problem and my personality. About 6 months ago i experienced tachycardia and Dr. Gage promptly got me in that day. He did a full workup, fortunately no major pathology and it was self limited and resolved rapidly. I have been seeing Dr. Gage coming up on 16 years this June 27th. He has been my cardiologist since 2008 and I could not have lucked out any better had I tried. He is warm, considerate of your feelings, knows exactly what to do for you and when, is conservative in his treatment .
