Dr. Re removed calcific tendinitis and bone spurs, repaired a rotator cuff tear and released my adhesive capsulitis. Everything was explained clearly and expectations set. So far everything has exceeded those expectations, and I am pain free. I am on my way to regaining my full range of motion and strength. Dr. Re is professional, thorough, and compassionate. I was referred for shoulder pain. Within 2 minutes of my arrival I was taken for x-rays by a very friendly technician who made me feel at ease. 5 minutes later I was back in the waiting room. Then swiftly whisked to an exam room and examined by a PA. Dr Re came in and she gave him her diagnosis. He examined me and the reviewed my x-rays with me, did an ultrasound and showed me - rotator cuff tendinitis. He told me he’d prescribe a cortisone shot followed up by Physical Therapy. Gave me the shot and sent me on my way. 30 minutes from arrival to ‘done’. You can’t ask for any better than that. Pain has lessened and I’m awaiting the start of PT. Went to the Hudson office for a shoulder surgery follow-up, was in an out in about 15 minutes. Follow-ups are usually short, but I only waited about a minute in the waiting room, and maybe one more minute in the examination room before Dr Re came in. My Primary doctor recommended I contact Dr. Re bc of a shoulder issue: about 10 years ago. I did and Dr Re recommended rotator cuff and it was successful . About a year or so ago my husband took a bad fall and as I tried to pick him up of the floor (all 6’4”) I tore my shoulder. Dr Re thought he may have to replace the shoulder but with shots etc, I do not have to have surgery which I’m extremely thrilled about. My 2nd shoulder replacement---much easier than 1st, fewer problems. Pain management excellent. First replacement left me with scar tissue that needed surgical intervention----- surgeon felt PT could be handled at home, not effective. Dr. Re managed my case with pain injections until I was ready for surgery--helped a great deal with my work schedule. I always have my brother (works for FDA) check MDs before committing to surgery--Dr. Re came out with glowing accolades--made me comfortable with my decision. I fell while hiking and injured my shoulder - dislocated, broken socket bone, torn rotator cuff, torn ligaments, torn tendons. In short my shoulder was a mess.
