After my visit today with Dr. Celso Acevedo regarding my heart condition I could not have felt more reassured that I am on the road to recovery. Dr. Acevedo is the most professional, knowledgeable, and equally compassionate and courteous doctor I have seen. Not only did he review my test results before my visit, but took the time to explain each of my results and even provided visual aids to ensure I understood which parts of my heart and arteries needed immediate attention. He even asked my wife if she also understood everything he was explaining. Dr Acevedo and his staff are compassionate and knowledgeable. With a difficult diagnosis I knew he really cared and he explained everything so I could understand it concerning my upcoming procedure. He is a good listener and left the decisions up to me instead of trying to force me into something. I went misdiagnosed for many years but within 15 minutes of me explaining all of my symptoms, Dr Acevedo was able to give me true answers and explanations as to why I feel the way I do. Dr Acevedo is wonderful. He did what other cardiologist would not and that's an ablation on me to stop my heart from beating so fast. I had no pain after surgery and after taking the bandages off my wounds look excellent. I have a friend that went also to Dr Acevedo for an ablation and she's still good a year later. I wish I could see him for a regular cardiologist his bedside manner is beautiful and his hands are miracle workers.

Dr Acevedo did my ablation and he was very kind and explained everything before the surgery and I had no pain afterwards It turned out perfect and my heartbeat is a normal 55 to 60 instead of 110 beats per minute. Dr. Acevedo is an amazing and talented physician who I met in an emergency situation a few years ago. I will forever remain his patient as long as he is in practice as he puts his patients healthcare first and always goes out of his way to get you the answers to your healthcare concerns. He was very thorough in explaining every detail and his office staff are truly one of a kind. This office strives for the best care for their patients and they even call to check on you which we know doesn't happen in the busy medical field! I had been referred to Dr Acevado through my PC Doctor. Dr Acevado is worth the wait, if you have to wait for an appointment. He was thorough in explaining my condition prepared Me for all the steps to making arrangement for the ablation & a full recovery. He was kind, professional & unflappably beyond his years. I had a heart ablation scheduled and Dr Acevedo was not comfortable with the low heartbeat once completed. I stayed an extra night, he fit me in his already long day schedule with a smile and very detailed pacemaker information. His confidence I would feel so much better, he still made it my decision, but an easy decision. Being only 60 I was nervous but learned some of my heart issues were from many years ago diet and smoking ( 30 years ago) plus my God given heart issue, the pacemaker was the right answer. Dr Acevedo, along with his team Emily are amazing! I read some of the replies about scheduling and not calling back patients in a timely manner… really people, rate the Dr and be thankful he is so knowledgeable and smart to fix you! Yes! I would recommend DrAcevedo to my friends and family. He answered my questions promptly and with knowledge. When I Had a problem with my heartbeat he knew exactly what to do and his team was right on course. Keep In mind, if you read and follow his instructions and maintain a healthy lifestyle you will do much better! It is also the patients responsibility to keep in touch with YOUR insurance company. Please remember that physicians can not control the mindset of insurance companies. Dr. Acevedo performed an Ablation on me eliminating my SVT problem and I couldn't be more pleased! Dr. Acevedo has a wonder set of attributes that ALL doctors should have. He is extremely technically knowledgable, compassionate, fantastic bedside manner, and great personality. If you ever need an Afib or SVT Ablation, no matter where you live, I would highly recommend using Dr. Acevedo to perform your procedure. I am extremely satisfied with my results, and he has an amazing Cath Lab!!

Dr. Acevedo seen me on several occasions with the same conclusions each time, we just tried to buy time with medications. The time finally came and a major decision was needed. In less than an hour he implanted a pacemaker/defibrillator, I came home a new person. It's been four months now and I feel 20 years younger, no shortness of breath, no fluid in my lungs and no more a-fib. I even talked a friend into having it done and she was scared to death but is doing great now. Dr. Acevedo is a very kind and compassionate man, his surgical team also are compassionate and know what they are doing to make it as easy as possible for you. My wife and I have both been patients of Dr. Acevedo and I don't believe there is a better heart doctor in this country. He is very patient and explains procedures in detail. His nurse LeeAnn is also very knowledgeable and helpful. We are fortunate to have him practicing near us.
