Dr. Farmer is a consumate professional. He took a lot of time not only to listen to my issues, but also took a lot of time to explain my tretment options. I did require an invasive procedure in the ffice during my visit. I am generally a very stoic guy. However, this procedure was very difficult for me, and he took the time to ensure I was OK and able to continue. He explained to findings in great detail along the way. His caring and compassionate manner during this time was inspiring. His office staff was exceptionally nice and professional. They put me at ease durin my visit and were very attentive to my needs. I had to have an invasive procedure by Dr. Farmer. Both he and his nurse showed warmth and compassion to me, making me very comfortable. The procedure was explained well to me. His nurse actually sat down in the chair next to me to talk to me. I was made to feel like a person not just another procedure. Very professional and caring at the same time. I would recommend Dr. Farmer to anyone.

Dr Farmer is an excellent Urologist. I brought up a treatment idea and he researched it and was able to collaborate with a doctor outside his clinic. After explaining the procedure and options to me, we decided on the best treatment for my medical situation. I highly recommend Dr Farmer. I’d been with the VA in Memphis since 2002 when I was diagnosed with prostate cancer. Dr. Farmer not only scoped my bladder—informing me about what I was seeing on the screen, but he also spoke with me at length about cancer issues I’d never heard about at the VA. Formed a kidney stone while on trip. Pain subsided but my primary care doctor said to see a urologist. Dr. Farmer. Kidney stone was confirmed (7mm x 12mm in size) so surgery was required to take it out. All done within one day. Thank you!Patient Submitted Review

Dr. Farmer was great, before my procedure he came in and explained everything he was going to do and made sure I understood and have any questions. I was having terrible pain in the recovery room, and he came back to check on me and had the nurse do a scan on me to make sure everything was okay, he is a very patient Doctor and down to earth. I will use him again, and recommend him highly. Can’t forget the nurses, every one of them were top of the line, each one came by and checked on me, very professional and caring, and very nice to look at too.
