I appreciate the incredible professionalism and welcoming atmosphere in this office. Dr. Hill is very friendly, approachable, and gave me the space and time to discuss inquiries that I had about my health and history as his new patient, which I did not have out of state. No BS, he kept resolutions simple to follow, and practical. The medical assistant was incredibly kind and efficient. The phlebotomist was a joy to chat with and quick while she drew; I’ve no issue with needles, but I know she’s likely capable of comforting any patients who may have a fear or discomfort with needles. Great first visit. I felt I was listened too and in less than 15 minutes, Dr Hill discussed his philosophy about treating the whole person and how your mental health affects your physical health. Dr. Hill is a great doctor, he's very patient and listens to what I have to say, and he thoughtfully responds to my comments, unlike doctors I've had in the past. Dr. Hill is probably the first doctor I feel comfortable about talking about my health issues, and I know he will take my considerations into account. I was looking for a family medicine doctor and decided to try Hill Family Medicine. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but my experience far exceeded my expectations. After seeing several doctors who kept prescribing the same medication that I had repeatedly explained wasn’t solving the problem and wasn’t a long-term solution, Dr. Hill truly made a difference. He took the time to understand my issue and offered a solution that gave me real hope for resolving it. I wanted to take a moment to share. I rarely write reviews, however, it seems appropriate this week. I have seen Dr. Matthew Hill for years and I can't say enough good things. Not only is he a brilliant doctor, he has a great empathy for his patients and respect for his staff. He is compassionate and will always try to understand and help with his medical advice, expertise and his time even when there are no appointments available. Dr. Matthew Hill is an AMAZING doctor and by far the best doctor I've ever had! I don't say this lightly given the fact that I had the same primary care physician from the time I was in elementary school until I graduated from college who was an incredible physician. After he stopped practicing, I tried out several different PCPs and could not find one who was even half as good. Then in 2017, I made an appointment with Dr. Hill after a minor car accident and I was blown away by his deep care for his patients' well being and the depth of his knowledge. It's both rare and refreshing. I went in looking for a doctor who was half as good as the one I grew up seeing only to find one who exceeded that expectation! Dr. Hill's consistency, bedside manner, and willingness to both listen and explain things in detail makes him shine further as a physician. If you want a doctor who will treat you well and prioritize your care who is also smart, empathetic, and patient then you should see Dr. Hill.Patient Submitted Review
