Dr Baker is a phenomenal surgeon. He was able to tell me exactly what my injury was even before i had the MRI. He knew how to deal with my fears of the unknown before, during, after my ankle surgery. His assistant Jordan is great as well. They also answer questions on the portal within minutes. Appointments have been flexible as well. He is down to earth and does not make you feel like he is in a rush to get you out of the office! Recommend his 100%!

I went to Dr. Baker with a long-term orthopedic issue. He looked at my x-rays and after listening to my immediate issues offered offered several suggestions to help me cope with an arthritic ankle. Start to finish a most positive experience! Office Staff were personable and professional creating a positive and competent experience. As a first visit with Dr Baker as a second opinion. I was relieved to find Dr Baker is one of those MD's who talk "with" as opposed to "at" a patient.In my experience an MD who includes the patient in their care is rare and a Doctor to stick with. Dr. Baker has been terrific. I ruptured my Achilles tendon and fractured my ankle and he's wasted no time in getting me in for surgery. Like the rest of the surgeons at Orthopedic Affiliates, he has provided outstanding service and spends as much time as you need in appointments to discuss your concerns. I can't say enough good things about this practice and Dr. BAKER.

Dr. Baker and his staff, and the Emerson hospital and their staff were phenomenal! Dr. Baker is very professional, personable and knowledgeable and a nice bedside manner. He’s very friendly, explains everything he knows, then pauses and really listens after asking if you have any questions. His office staff and nurses were very helpful. They made us feel like we were the most important people to walk in the office. The day of surgery was no different. Dr. Baker came in to explain the process to us. While I was “going under”, he came out to the waiting area to update my husband with the status before and after the surgery. It was evident that he enjoys his craft, but he also is a people person. I have severe arthritis in my right foot and have been his patient for the last few years. He left the practice I initially saw him in and moved. But because I really like his attention to my medical issues I followed him. He is kind and patient and you never feel rushed but you do feel heard. I wouldn't chose anyone else. Every aspect of this appointment was exceptional. The front desk person who booked my appointment was careful to assess my symptoms to ensure I booked with the correct specialist, the front desk workers were efficient and courteous, the x-ray technician worked quickly and professionally. Dr. Baker was excellent. He listened carefully to my explanation of the pain I was experiencing, he carefully examined my ankle and foot, then he clearly explained what was causing the pain. He then demonstrated the physical therapy exercises to remedy my problem, told me exactly how to do them and how many times per day, and gave me a packet of additional exercises to strengthen my ankle. Dr baker is by far the best doctor that I have ever had! I was in a bad car accident that crushed my right foot and through many surgeries he saved my foot. I was fortunate to have Dr. Baker on call the night I broke my ankle. With some serious pre-existing conditions, he made me feel comfortable with the surgery I had to endure. He is kind, compassionate, and talks to you like a person, not a patient. He is also incredibly considerate - he scheduled my follow-ups in the casting room vs making me go to the office and then travel to the casting room. With a broken ankle, that made a big difference!
