We had brought in our 2 year old who was a little scared to begin with. Dr Zimmerman was able to make him feel comfortable and treated his nursemaids elbow quickly. My 10yo special needs daughter was seen at the OAL Urgent Care on a busy Monday morning, after a very scary & painful injury - with our entire experience being nothing short of amazing! The receptionist was extremely welcoming & knowledgeable, with check-in lasting no more than 2 min and zero wait time to go back to her room. The assistant and x-ray tech both put my daughter's mind at ease with their friendly smiles & approachable demeanor. The physicians assistant, Eric, had wonderful bedside manner, explaining my daughter's fracture & recovery process in a way she understood and was comfortable with, which, by the way, is not always easy to do with special needs kiddos! We absolutely love the staff and doctors at OAL, coming back time and time again & recommending the practice to family and friends -- as anytime there's an orthopedic/ortho-surgical need -- OAL is exactly who I want taking care of the people I love the most! I had a 100% positive experience at OAL yesterday. From my check in, to my 3 minute wait in the emergency room. to y pre-exam though my xrays and my interaction with Eric. He understood my issues and offered several options for a treatment plan. We agreed on a plan and I was out the door with a follow up visit scheduled in no time. I went in after falling on ice at work. Lo and behold, I broke my pinky. Mr. Zimmerman was great! As much as I don’t like going to the doctors, he made the whole situation feel very relaxed and comfortable and also assured me that everything would be ok. Eric was very thorough; he took time to fully explain x-rays of my right shoulder. He gave me a steroid injection in that shoulder as well as exercises to do at home to prevent any further damage. Professional, yet friendly with good eye contact. Really listened to details and didn't jump to obvious conclusion, but considered the possibilities. Had me fitted for a better brace, prescribed a new medication and, most importantly, considered my other medications and sensitivities to drugs and food. Fell and hurt my right knee. Went to Orthopedic urgent care and saw Eric. Everyone there was very helpful and took good care of me.The xray tech was very nice and explained everything she did. ThenEric came in and looked at the xrays. Luckily nothing broken, just bruised. I would recommend them to any one Thank you all
