I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Thalody. Every time I had a question after surgery she was so prompt to get back to me and took my concerns to heart. Highly recommend her! Fabulous experience so far at 3 weeks out of surgery.

Dr. Hope Thalody was my orthopedic surgeon for my R TKR 11/2024 and my L TKR 1/2025. I believe I was one of her first patients when she came to OAA... I got an appointment with her because I wanted a second opinion. (Something about my first ortho - nonOAA - just didn't click and I wanted to go elsewhere.) I could not be more thrilled with my results, as well as with Dr. Hope's approach with patients considering this surgery. She was kind, honest, direct and helped me know exactly what to expect. Two things that she said that I took to heart: "I can do a perfect surgery, but you have to do the rehab" and then once rehab started: "Go hard." I heard her voice in my head so many times. "Go hard." "Go hard." She called 1-2 days prior to surgery just to see if I had questions! She answers question online within a day. You sort of feel like her only patient which obviously isn't true! I am today six weeks post on my second knee and can already do things I have not been able to do for years. I could not be more grateful to Dr. Hope.Patient Submitted Review

I had a partial knee replacement in Dec 2023, and had nothing but problems, so I went to see Dr Thalody and after more testing she determined that my partial was loose. So on January 16 2025 I had a total knee replacement, she and her staff were very friendly ,caring and knowledgeable. I could not be happier that I chose Dr. Thalody to do my THR surgery. We met three times, during which she explained the procedure, risks, and prognosis and answered all our questions. She was welcoming, confident, and attentive to our concerns. These meetings were at least 30 minutes each - not the often hurried 10-15 minutes that doctors seem to be limited to now. Dr. Hope called me the night before the surgery and was there around 6:00 am the day after. I felt safe and confident as she is knowledgeable about current procedure and has empathy for her patients. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Thalody to anyone needing hip surgery. She also has a fantastic team.Patient Submitted Review

Dr Hope Thalody performed my 2nd knee replacement and the outcome has been amazing! Only one week post op and I feel great ! Not sure what magic she used, but my first replacement had me in pain for weeks. This time around I’m up and on the go ! Dr Hope Thalody has performed my first knee replacement surgery. Hope and her team at OAA have been great with answering any and all of my questions and concerns. She is more than confident with the surgical procedure she had performed. I love the pre opt and post opt phone calls I have received from her checking in on how I am doing. I would definitely recommend her to anyone in need of a knee replacement surgery. Great addition to the OAA team. After meeting with Dr. Hope, I am very confident and assured that my hip replacement will be done with minimal downtime. She was very knowledgeable, comforting, and able to answer every question that I had. I had a successful anterior hip replacement surgery by Dr. Hope. She was extremely kind and an expert in her field. I highly recommend her for this procedure.
