They were able to fit me in the same day I called. That was fantastic because, I was experiencing a lot of pain in my knee. Most of my visit was spent with the PA, who was awesome. He explained my X-Rays to me in detail and answered all of my questions and concerns. Recommended getting a shot in the knee. Dr T gave me the injection and it was very quick and for sure not as bad as getting a tennis elbow shot. Very happy with my overall experience. Dr Thalody has been very involved and helpful in my preparation and recovery from hip replacement surgery. Rather than have her staff call me to check in and follow-up, I was surprised she called me directly to follow up. Evenings, weekend, it did not matter. Dr Thalody called me back herself. I found Dr Thalody to kind and caring a wonderful bedside manner. I never felt rushed, she was patient and answered all of my questions. She petsonally called me on several occasions. I became ill before my surgery and had to rescheduleI. She called me to see if I felt ready for the reschedule surgery. I had a total knee replacement. Any time I messaged her through the patient port, she or her staff answered in timely manner. I cant say enough about Dr Thalody. She was absolutely wonderful.

I had my second hip surgery done by hope yesterday, and without a doubt I would recommend her to anybody. She is so pleasant to deal with. She listens to everything that I was concerned about. Like I said earlier, I would have no reservations about recommending her. She's the best!!!!!!!!!

It was very nice meeting Dr Hope for the first time! She was very upfront with me and didn’t pull any punches related to what she saw on my knee X-rays. She clearly explained my options, what would or wouldn’t work and why. My mother, who is 87 years old had a bad knee for many years and was told by other doctors she could not have knee surgery. We took her to OAA and saw Dr Eric Yuschak who recommended her to surgeon Dr Hope Thalody. She was confident that she could do the surgery as long as all her doctors gave her clearance. She was given clearance by her doctors and had her total knee replacement April 2025. Recovery was much better than anyone expected. It was quick and with minimal pain. She is an expert at her craft, and the confidence she exudes is backed by the quality of her care. I could not be happier that I chose Dr. Thalody to do my THR surgery. We met three times, during which she explained the procedure, risks, and prognosis and answered all our questions. She was welcoming, confident, and attentive to our concerns. These meetings were at least 30 minutes each - not the often hurried 10-15 minutes that doctors seem to be limited to now. Dr. Hope called me the night before the surgery and was there around 6:00 am the day after. I felt safe and confident as she is knowledgeable about current procedure and has empathy for her patients. Dr Hope Thalody has performed my first knee replacement surgery. Hope and her team at OAA have been great with answering any and all of my questions and concerns. She is more than confident with the surgical procedure she had performed. I love the pre opt and post opt phone calls I have received from her checking in on how I am doing.
