Everyone is extremely nice and a pleasure to work with. The young man who takes us before Dr. Thalody is very thorough and clear in sharing information and giving instructions. Dr.Hope gave my daughter, during her first post surgery visit, as much time as needed and answered every question she had , in a very kind and easily understood manner. They were able to fit me in the same day I called. That was fantastic because, I was experiencing a lot of pain in my knee. Most of my visit was spent with the PA, who was awesome. He explained my X-Rays to me in detail and answered all of my questions and concerns. Recommended getting a shot in the knee. Dr T gave me the injection and it was very quick and for sure not as bad as getting a tennis elbow shot. Very happy with my overall experience. My mother, who is 87 years old had a bad knee for many years and was told by other doctors she could not have knee surgery. We took her to OAA and saw Dr Eric Yuschak who recommended her to surgeon Dr Hope Thalody. She was confident that she could do the surgery as long as all her doctors gave her clearance. She was given clearance by her doctors and had her total knee replacement April 2025. Recovery was much better than anyone expected. It was quick and with minimal pain. I could not be happier that I chose Dr. Thalody to do my THR surgery. We met three times, during which she explained the procedure, risks, and prognosis and answered all our questions. She was welcoming, confident, and attentive to our concerns. These meetings were at least 30 minutes each - not the often hurried 10-15 minutes that doctors seem to be limited to now. Dr. Hope called me the night before the surgery and was there around 6:00 am the day after. I felt safe and confident as she is knowledgeable about current procedure and has empathy for her patients.
