It is 2 years today since Dr. Davies performed ankle replacement surgery on my right ankle. It has been life changing!My ankle was a congenital condition, which did not manifest itself until I was 13 years old. But since that age, I was in excruciating pain any time I over exercised. I grew up playing competitive tennis, but, because of my ankle, I quit playing tennis in my early 20s. I have played golf since I was 7 years old, and always walked. By the time my ankle degenerated into a bone on bone condition, the most golf I could play was to ride for 9 holes, and it was too painful, so I quit playing golf.I am now 76 years old, Because of the surgery, I now walk 18 holes with no pain, I play pickleball with no pain, and I go on long walks with my dog with no pain. Dr Julson did my right shoulder in 2022. I knew I would need my left shoulder repaired too. My right shoulder is 100 percent back to normal with complete full range of motion. Shoulder surgery is one of the toughest joint surgeries, and mine was extremely damaged. After religiously doing my PT and following my post op instructions, I have my active life back. I had an ankle replacement recently and he did exactly what he told me he would do and make sure I woulldnt be in any pain. I was so terrified of that. I don't abuse drugs and sometimes drs make you feel that way but he knew I didn't and was just scared of pain so he kept me on my pain pills until I thought I'd be okay without them. Dr. Julson performed my husband’s shoulder replacement surgery. She did an outstanding job, listened to concerns, then offered alternatives. She has a caring attitude. My husband has recovered well and is back to a normal routine after six months. I would also like to say how pleased I am with Premiere Orthopedics. They are a private practice and the doctors take the time to listen and treat each patient. There is none of the “herding patients through like cattle” as I experienced several years ago at a different Tulsa facility. Dr. Scott Plaster performed my knee surgery which went extremely well and my knee is strong and functions like a new knee. He is an outstanding surgeon with great concern for the patient. Dr. Davies corrected a crossover toe on my left foot. My toe now looks normal with no pain. He is quite knowledgeable and a friend went to him after my surgery and was quite pleased also. An absolutely fantastic surgeon! She repaired my left shoulder rotator cuff and bicep tears back in 2017: there are just a few very short incision scars visible; yet she repaired three rotator cuff and one biceps tendons. More recently I obliterated my right rotator cuff when I crashed into an indoor wall playing pickleball. Because there was nothing left to "repair" she did a Reverse Total Shoulder Arthoplasty. Basically that reverses the normal shoulder ball and socket arrangement. And because there's no rotator cuff to attach things to, she had to attach everything to the Deltoid muscle. You can look up the surgery online, but the x-rays aren't for the fainthearted. However after some physical therapy, I played a round of golf just 14 weeks after surgery?! She'll take all the time you need to explain procedures and I've always found her to be very personable. She said she chose shoulder surgery because "the shoulder is the most complex joint in the body." I wouldn't trust my shoulders to anyone else!Patient Submitted Review

Dr Rodney plaster is amazing he did my knee replacement a year ago and also did my mother's knee replacement 25 years ago. I also saw the foot surgeon there. He's amazing when someone else told me I needed to have surgery on both feet and all toes he said no you don't that is unnecessary unless you just want them to look good. He was very honest. He’s taking over for my privious Dr. Alan Lewis (Now Retired) whom performed a Full Ankle Replacement eight years ago. I’m 59 and he replaced both my knees last September. I know I may not be the usual case, but I was walking pain free 3 weeks after both surgeries. I have never had a problem and has been 5 years since the first replacement. I had both knees replaced by Dr Plaster, my brother and cousin also by Dr Plaster, I was told by Drs in Tulsa he was the best and they were right. My knees are as good as my birth knees no pain and very good bend in them, I had one done in 2004 and the other in 2009 and after 15 years they are as good as they were after the first year. I drove a 100 miles from home to have him do my knees . I want to say I did a aggressive rehab and it paid off. I had dislocated my shoulder about 20 years ago, and the treatment at that time was steroid injections. Recently, I re-injured the shoulder and sought treatment. I was referred by my primary care physician to Dr. Danya Josserand. Dr. Josserand showed me the injuries on the MRI and recommended surgery. She provided me a very detailed protocol to prepare for surgery, which I carefully followed. Surgery involved a rotator cuff repair, biceps tenodesis, with extensive debridement of the shoulder joint. After the surgery, Dr. Josserand recommended an excellent physical therapy group, with specific protocol instructions. The recovery took several months, but resulted in restored movement and no more shoulder pain. Dr. Josserand was caring, compassionate and shared her knowledge. I felt I could ask her questions and receive an easy to understand explanation of symptoms, restoration, and physiology. Office visits were on time and efficient. I had an amazing experience with my total knee replacement by Dr. Plaster. The entire experience was well organized, efficient and friendly. Appointments were right on time. My pain level was so low that it was controlled by OTC pills and I used no opioids. He does not use the "torture machine".Patient Submitted Review

Dr. Cash did a wonderful job repairing my son's damaged shoulder! I don't think anyone else would have made the extra effort to repair all the damage done so he could have the use of his arm and shoulder. Dr. Lewis did my ankle scope. From my first visit until my last it was one of the most pleasant experiences with a Dr.'S office that I've ever had! The staff was professional , friendly, and acted like you were their only concern. No long waits, ever. Dr. Davies is the best! He is my family’s go to surgeon for all our foot and ankle issues. Dr. Davies communicates clearly the surgery details and what I needed to do for successful results. He did an excellent job but I need to work to improve following his post op instructions on my part. I highly recommend DrDavies for your surgery needs.
