Dr. Jonathan Kalish has been my urologist for the past four years, having kept me alive with the removal of recurring bladder tumors,four times. He is not only an excellent, compassionate, deligent doctor and surgeon, but is a a great person to talk with. We were friends right away. He has, upon my requests, given me medical advice regarding other issues several times, which were extremely helpful and life saving! I continually go for quarterly check-ups for any new tumors, but always look forward to meeting with him. I can only say that about one other doctor. I feel this is how he relates to his patients. He is extremely personable. He has had me on two different types of therapy during these years…dependent upon whether I just had a tumor removed or treatments for maintenance every six months. At 79, I have had many doctors. I would put him at the top of my list. It would be great if all doctors were like him.Patient Submitted Review

These Ladies are very polite and knowledgeable cause I was switching from my ATNA Insurance to VA and they practically did it for me, GREAT PLACE for discovery, addressing the problem, then the healing begins. The reality is there's no place is great when your leaving there with bad news with no fixes. That wasn't my case I'm just saying that these ladies have probably seen they're share of last visits . I just wanted to do a review of Dr. Kalish and his team. It's a difficult thing to not have oneself exposed to strangers in such a way. But the whole team has taken such a proffessional way to make me feel comfortable in that respect. Now the situation I'm in with catheters is a tad painful. But Dr. Kalish and staff has made this as painless as humanly possible. And trust me when I say I am a 62 year old baby when it comes to pain..the surgury that we choose after discussing all options was a success. I've never had a problem with them. The dr. (Kristopher Whitehead) spoke with me about having an outpatient procedure done. He answered any of my questions. The procedure was suggested to improve my quality of life. I was nervous about it, at first. I must say I'm glad I met him and he suggested it. It was the best decision I could have ever made for my current situation. Thank u, Dr. Whitehead. U will be missed! I don't want another urologist but he moved. :(

Words cannot even express how thankful I am for this man. And the entire staff, nurse Shana Autry specifically! Had the stone from Oct 1st - Oct 14th. After going into the New Albany ER.. not once.. but twice.. for a lodged 6 mm kidney stone and UNBEARABLE pain.. also turning into a UTI. I followed up with Brent Harden Urologists, office in New Albany and Oxford. He told me I could schedule the surgery as an elective within 4 WEEKS, or if I built up an infection, could not hold food or water down due to pain, then he would consider it an emergency. Dr. Posey showed my husband and I SO MUCH CARE, and immediately told me we could be getting the stone out TODAY. Also gave me information on a specialists to help me control the stones. From the minute we stepped into the office from when I was being discharged from surgery.. only 7 hours. AS A WALK IN! So extremely thankful. Every time I have ve come in to the office, everyone is very courteous, kind, and helpful. I never have to wait very long. They get me in and out very quickly My visits with Dr. Kalish are wonderful. I give them a 4.5 out of 5 - been seeing urologist for over 70 years - first one being Dr. Thomas Moore at Baptist Hospital in Memphis who built Graceland and sold it to Elvis in 1957. Dr. Posey was very good and thorough in every way. Receptionist were friendly - had three nurses attend to me and all were great! highly recommend!

I was admitted to hospital with severe shortness of breath and swelling. I was found to have a bad aortic valve and needed surgery. The surgeon said my body could not withstand the surgery. Dr. Bertolet was able to perform a balloon procedure on my valve which allowed me to improve enough to undergo my life-saving surgery. I am alive today thanks to his skill.Patient Submitted Review

There are not may physicians that are as trustworthy as Dr. Kalish. He explains everything! He is willing to take the time to discuss the various options. He talks about the pros and cons and then he makes a recommendation. When asked what he would do for his father or brother, his answer was, exactly what I am recommending for you. That spoke volumes.
