Dr Daniel Sparks is one of those Doctors that runs a medical office that is so very easy to find help and understanding of all my orthopedic issues! I have been through so much with knees and back that I had thought I would never be able to walk long distances again but after getting to know Dr. Sparks and getting help from him I am now able to go anywhere I want and I can do my own shopping and traveling! I’ve left several reviews and I’ll keep on keeping onto! I love them! From the radiology tech to front desk to surgery scheduling to all assistants to the doctor himself! Dr. Smith is nice, confident (exactly what I need for someone that’s gonna be cutting my neck😂), doesn’t mess around, and doesn’t tell me things I either don’t care about or don’t need yo know. He’s straight to the point, has answered every question, and gotten down to business. My neck issues have given me problems gradually over time, he found them without treating me as if I was exaggerating or didn’t know my own body, and he laid out flat for me. We had to cancel my first surgery through no fault of anyone’s, and when I came in to reschedule they got me in in no time. So far, I can’t ask for better! My experience here has been amazing. I see more than one doctor here and they all work so well together to give you the best benefit of the situation. I’m actually had. two surgeries in the past year, one of them could’ve actually been two by itself, but they were so amazing at pulling it together and only making me go through that pain one time And that was awesome since it was all on the same hand and arm Had remarkable healing time.. And also had major foot surgery. It kept me down for a while, but if you go to the treatments to everything they asked you to do. Especially with the Physical therapy afterwards, you were downtime and recovery time will be Amazing they have cut my lower back pain down over 50% Not counting my overall body pain I can’t see enough about these team of doctors. So basically just thank you to this entire staff and facility for making a difference in my life thank you so much and have a blessed day. Appointments were made and kept, very little time waiting in the waiting room, quick x-rays, quick to exam room, quick detailed check up with nurse, and short wait time for doctor. Very patient with me, very caring. After having surgery for 2 discs repair with graft, I have very thin and frail neck skin and my incision didn't heal properly but subsequent procedures were quick and painless as possible. Dennis is gradually getting better thank you for all your help in getting him well. Today is 3/22/24 and on 3/21/24 Dennis Barnard completed his physical therapy they've released him to go back to work. The city has sent him for a drug screening and a physical before he goes back. Dr. Sparks did a ACL replacement on my knee in 2016. He did a great job. I had a ACL replacement in Birmingham several years before he did the second one so I had knowledge of the procedure. A couple of weeks ago I started having knee pain and I made an appointment with him. I got in fairly quickly and the staff was very friendly and efficient. I had an X-ray saw Dr. Sparks and had treatment and was out of the office in 20 minutes. He throughly explained my problem what the options of treatment were and injected my knee with little to no pain. I would and have recommended Dr. Sparks for any of your orthopedic problems. I could tell on my first appointment with Dr. Smith I had found a 5 star Orthopedic Doctor who was well knowledgeable in his field and my care would be at top priority. He made my nerves settle down with my first appointment and I could tell I wasn't just a number on a chart. My spine had suffered a great deal of trauma through a long life of working hard and dealing with situations that were beyond my control. He actually listened to my complaints and concerns about my spinal issues. He found out the the extent of my issues and got me started on the work I needed to try and deal with it and try and be productive again. I owe my whole way of life to Dr. Smith and his nurse's for actually carrying about me as a person and taking my problems seriously and helping me in every way that they have! This is the first time I have ever seen any Doctor who made sure to honestly help me and not just push me on out the door. I am still being seen as a continued patient who is now learning how to deal with my issues and continue in a almost normal life style so I can continue to live a productive life!
