Great first visit. I felt I was listened too and in less than 15 minutes, Dr Hill discussed his philosophy about treating the whole person and how your mental health affects your physical health. I've been one of those people who doesn't like going to the doctor unless it's an emergency. If I had found Hill Family Medicine a long time ago, I wouldn't have put off routine check ups for so long. I feel like I've found people who actually listen to and care about me. My primary care provider Stephanie Boothe is wonderful. I feel she is truly concerned about my overall well being and keeping me healthy, and I am so appreciative that she listens to my concerns. I had read a couple negative reviews about the office staff, but the practice must have addressed those issues because all of those with whom I interacted were friendly and efficient. This is by far the best medical group I have been to here in Austin. Very compassionate and caring people. They follow up with you on everything and messages are replied promptly which is amazing. I wanted to take a moment to share. I rarely write reviews, however, it seems appropriate this week. I have seen Dr. Matthew Hill for years and I can't say enough good things. Not only is he a brilliant doctor, he has a great empathy for his patients and respect for his staff. He is compassionate and will always try to understand and help with his medical advice, expertise and his time even when there are no appointments available. I appreciate the incredible professionalism and welcoming atmosphere in this office. Dr. Hill is very friendly, approachable, and gave me the space and time to discuss inquiries that I had about my health and history as his new patient, which I did not have out of state. No BS, he kept resolutions simple to follow, and practical. The medical assistant was incredibly kind and efficient. The phlebotomist was a joy to chat with and quick while she drew; I’ve no issue with needles, but I know she’s likely capable of comforting any patients who may have a fear or discomfort with needles. Great customer service, clean building, and good music choice for the lobby! Thank you all so much for your support and wonderful first-time experience!
