Dr. Beyer was fantastic with my one year old baby during her 12-month well child exam. He spent plenty of time with us and answered all our questions. He took time to let baby get to know him and was gentle and thorough. He has a great bedside manner and was very knowledgeable. I have appreciated every practitioner we’ve met at Oregon Pediatrics and feel that all my children are well cared for by all. Special shout out to Olivia who was just fabulous with baby, Edgar who is an excellent teacher/mentor, and to the reception team who always make us feel welcome and who are SO VERY helpful, both on the phone and in person. Thanks so much to everyone. UPDATE to the update: Heather Selis is still the very best. She makes us all feel heard and she’s amazing with my kiddos. Thank you so much! UPDATE to add a paragraph about how much my family loves Heather Selis, who is a Nurse Practitioner at the NE location. She is the regular provider for my two children and she is FABULOUS. She listens closely, spends lots of time with us, answers all of our questions and always provides excellent, common-sense advice and information. She's up to date in her understanding of science and pediatrics generally, and both of our children love her and feel comfortable with her. She's definitely our pediatric provider as long as she's treating kids. As soon as I walked into the clinic today, the first person I saw was the front desk receptionist. It made my heart smile to see a familiar face because she is so sweet to everyone. Seeing Alexis, who is simply an outstanding medical assistant, was what really set it off. It was nice to have him be our MA for a second year in a row. I frequently worry that I won't be heard, but when I walk out of that clinic knowing that my daughter has gotten the greatest care possible, I know that Dr. Knisley is the best overall. Dr. Hendricks rules - I’ve been taking all 3 of my kids to her since they were born (so 5 years now!) Even after moving ~30 min away we still make the drive back over to her because we trust her so much :) It just feels like she actually cares about my kids, plus she does a great job of assuaging my irrational mom fears while digging in when necessary. Our son sees Dr. Laura Hendricks and she is caring and knowledgeable. She has taken the extra effort to get to know us as parents and this really helps with shared decision making.
